The farewell serenade at the marina gave me chills too Katie. So sweet, kind, and wonderful. It must have been hard to leave but looking forward to seeing the boys! Once again thank you for sharing. You all are a bright spot in a increasingly difficult world. May God bless all of you with fair winds.❤❤❤
We too have been to Fiji (on our honeymoon in 1994) and I can testify they do sing when you arrive and when you depart. It's truly a heartwarming experience!
Dear Colin, As a Fijian-Indian from Canada, I am so happy you enjoyed the islands and the Fijian Hospitality. The thumbnail brought back memories of my uncle paying the cops to lock me and my cousin up for a few hours in the old colonial jail located in Suva for not behaving. What an experience that was for a 8 year old kid from CANADA.😊😅😂 WOOOOOO! LINDO & MCFLY are coming home. I've missed those two young rascals so much.
I am so happy that the sail was so much easier than you had planned for. I understand how difficult it was to leave your pups behind. When we moved from Australia to Indonesia our dogs were in care for three months at a supposedly reliable kennel, I must say when they arrived they were in terrible shape. I pray that your dogs were cared for much better.
Hello from Calgary Alberta ! Watch you guys every Sunday and absolutely enjoy every episode !! You're an inspiration to us and I'm sure millions of other people around the world 🌎!
Pedro is a great addition - bringing that fish energy! Salt Shark is the bomb! Jaime is Legend! Colin is such an amazing captain. And Brittany with her filming and always solid presence is like the anchor of the crew.
Colin, I can’t wait for next week. I’m anxious to see this passage but even more to see the pups. I’ve really missed them. Not half as much as you have I’m sure it’s gonna be a magical day when you are all reunited.
I'm always excited to see your next video, because they are never dull or boring at all. The jokes and laughter brightens my soul each time so that I look forward to the next week. Thank you from the Philippines, and, be safe sailing, always.
Fiji is a great place to be a tourist, but a totally different story to live there. We did 4 years in Fiji and were so happy to be back in NZ. Safe travels
Love the Fijian welcomes and farewells, such beautiful people and country. Youve just got to follow the rules like everywhere else. Glad youre trip to Tonga worked out better than expected, though we were seeing the dogs today.
Hey there Colin, great to see you on Sea People and Elayna gave you a great wrap which was impressive, you should see even more subscribers now! Well another fantastic episode, the Fijians are such lovely people we have been there a few times and organised some educational goods for schools on the Coral Coast, great to see that you are all now bound for Tonga and you beloved mates, can’t wait till next week. Thank you for the journey Colin, take care, safe sailing and God Bless the crew. 😇🙏⛵️
Sure wish you would have shown the marina on Navionics or google earth, but I googled it for us fellow sailors following. Y'all make sailing look dreameeee'. Thinking its VUDA on West coast of the island. Sure looks like a lot of shallow areas on the site. But looks different on their site, so not certain same marina. On their site be 30 US dollars a night for my boat as she is 39 foot in length and 11 beam. Looks like a great marina. Thank you so much for the heads up on a good marina for us fellow sailers with Fiji on our list. Glad to see the dogs back. I will not be bringing mine along as I am on a WS32, but they are at home in care of family. It's hard leaving our fury family behind, so glad you have been reunited. Thanks for the heads up on the marina. Love seeing all the crew aboard, thanks for sharing!.
@colin you could've cleared out in Savusavu as you went North anyways 😉. There are more options than just Vuda and Denarau. But the farewell in Vuda is truly special. See you in the surf somewhere again.
Damm I wanted to see the reunion again! I’m watching from Bali where I am having a blissful time. (The reason I cannot get to Brisbane meetup which I think was today.) Love you guys!!
Hi gang, well i've just been at sea for 2 weeks, on a cruise in the Med. it was ok but give me a sail boat any day. Looking forward to seeing the dogs again next week x
Colin, I noticed when you were using Windy, you had a side by side screen showing two weather models. I would like to know how to achieve this as you can only open one session of windy? Cheers. Rich
Man I'm just getting to get of my tinnie boat build I can't wait to install my ev100 autopilot we have the 150 on one of the other boats I fish on and love them
Darn, if you could just pay an agent to meet you with the other boat. Won't check out 100 miles out of Fiji for the transfer. We all love our fur babies and would you everything and anything for them.Respect❤ I'm happy to travels y'all
First time seeing this channel! I thought I recognized Colin from the thumbnail, glad to see I was.right! I had to stop watching halfway through to say, if it's going to be a rough passage, I'm sure everyone on board is happy to have Colin and his engineering talents available. What a good dude, also. I don't understand why you were such a stand up guy while your supposed friend, Gary, was stabbing you in the back. But, from my perspective it was an edited program. You are the only judge that matters. Hope you're happy!
I am wondering why you didnt daysail up to Savusavu to clear out which would have gained lots of miles to windward. Also you didnt see any of what is by far the best part of Fiji, which is Taveuni, Vanuabalavu and the Lau group.

Man leaving Fiji got me right in the feels as bad as arriving in Fiji. That place is incredible thank you so much for taking us along!

@@Buddy869-z9x In the 2000's to mid 2010's spent a fair bit of time in Fiji, beautiful country with amazing people. But a very darkside

Been awhile. I forgot it seems that this is one of the cleanest most beautiful sailing channels. Well done!

Crewing on an unknown boat is a reality sanity buzz but finding a fun crew like this takes luck, plenty of tacking & beautiful waters❤😊
So much love for your Vids but Dammit - I thought today was Dog Day 🐾🐾🐾
Me too!
What a great video, I was so happy to see the clip at the end of the Dogs greeting you guy’s back, they really missed you and their life onboard! 🍀
Fiji is a great place to be a tourist, but a totally different story to live there. We did 4 years in Fiji and were so happy to be back in NZ. Safe travels
The Fijians always make me tear up, they’re so beautiful.
So glad you have got the dogs.
Those added decks are the absolute best addition to the hull besides the reinforced bulkheads.
Getting the tears ready for next week. Already cried all over Instagram 😂. Finally the ship will be whole again. ❤
Simply inspiring!
That code D is a beautiful piece of cloth.

Two fish, some pranks, calm seas.

Hello from Siesta Key Florida
💯 traveling the seas is not for dogs
I saw some stress cracks on the hall in your video with the line connects to the bow on the port side may want to address soon
Bulla Bulla SPR. Magical navigating (no comment NZ Navy) :)
Man I'm just getting to get of my tinnie boat build I can't wait to install my ev100 autopilot we have the 150 on one of the other boats I fish on and love them

NEXT WEEK!

Because we preferred to go round the top of Fiji with those weather conditions. But I agree about Lau. Maybe next circumnavigation!
18:37 I have had that hot sauce I predict he will just like the food. That isnt too spicy but damn good
Ya gotta love law-abiding dog people.
