      Seemed all good, but could be, I think it's empty cause it needs to much work to stay as a rental

    Very similar to house i grew up in. Purple Goana circa 1995😂..we used to collect the labels 😂. Last visit to the outback pub must have been around 2006i think😮. Lord feeling old. Happy memories thanks 😊

    Gosh that wallpaper screams 1980 lol... Doors are just like our ones different pattern on ours though... We have that top n bottom style but it's where our hot water cylinder and cupboard above...

    I swear this reminds me of some wallpapers of my childhood. How we emerged unscathed from the “decade of no style” (1975-1985) I’ll always wonder. 😆 Great to see your GoPro picking up low light so well.

      Yes very happy, only thing is I should have worn it on my head instead of holding, I got lazy lol

    Such a shame all that wood is all old rimu and kauri, alot of it probably heartwood, if that was looked after over the years it would be a million dollar character home, we have alot of the same doors and trim in the place i live it, same era but semi looked after and the wood is gorgeous

    Yeah that would have been a homely place to live, makes you wonder the reasons why these place's are left to rot, good look around again mate, cheers 🍻 🇦🇺

      Your welcome mate, my assumption is that it needs to much work to bring up to code to remain a rental property 👍

    This could still be saved nice old place.

    • @TheForsakenExplorerNz
      @TheForsakenExplorerNz  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes this could be saved but I believe it would cost at least 20k for the owner to bring it up to livable or rentable standards, unfortunately alot of landlords just don't have that sort of cash laying around so they get left with two choices let it sit or risk renting it illegally and get a large fine from the government, and I'm sure this house is on the same land as their farm so they probably can't even sell it either without selling their whole farm, Thank you for your comment 🙂👍🇳🇿

    Sad that someone has smashed holes in the walls. Cute house once upon a time.

      Yes it was a very nice little house, would have been a nice family home back in its day 👍🙂

    if restored it would be an amazing home how can someone who has a home like this just let it fall in ruin and decay
