Thanks for all of your great reactions to Dan Vasc. Dan is such a phenomenal artist. Dan breathes life into every song and brings you in to his storytelling. The guitarist name is Rapha Lamin. He was a very close friend and mentor to Dan, but sadly he passed away a few months ago. He was also a phenomenal artist. I look forward to many more Dan Vasc reactions. Thank you.
Dan is the most versatile and unpredictable singer on TH-cam. He makes every cover his own by adding the power and energy to every song. As his fans say, he makes every cover better than the original. Many thanks for reacting to the amazing Dan Vasc!
Thank you I knew your were going to love this my friend love ya thanks Dans skills are off the charts don’t forget you still need to hear his o holy night you will have a outer body experience you will see love ya thanks again your a joy to watch Dan has a true passion if you have no passion you have nothing love one another God bless
Thank you for your continued support and wonderful response to this epic cover by Dan and his guitarist Raphael Lamim. They both did a great job. Unfortunately he passed away recently and was not able to live to see Dan reach his 1 million subscribers. Thanks for sharing.....
Raphael was a mentor to Dan and urged him to go in harder and more metal. I think Dan owes him a lot on that part. Also Raphael had a studio and that is where they recorded Chronicles of ancient wisdom.
It's not news that Dan's falsetto is impossible. He covered the Angra version of Wuthering Heights, after all... But for him singing right on the passagio like he's balancing on a rope, Son of Pain. Son of Pain will require tissues, though. It will also explain why he loves Rhapsody (and so do I).
I heard Dan's version first and, since I'd never heard the original version, thought I should chk it out to be fair & compare. The original is good... but it's nowhere near as good as Dan's, I think.
We clearly have 1st listen bias because for me it is the opposite. I think Dan is amazing with all his covers and this one as well, but Yannis's voice brings a complexity to it that...to quote someone: makes it sound more like a duet than a solo piece :))
Great reaction to a masterpiece!
