- / loisdavidsonart www.etsy.com/u... In today's demo I'm sharing another sky practice. I've been busy and have fallen behind with painting my daily skies, so am trying to re-establish the habit, so will try to publish at least one sky painting a week here if I can! Check out my Sky practice playlist for more.
Here I use raw sienna, cobalt blue and paynes grey, along with various brushes, including my new size 14 Escoda Ultimo synthetic mop brush, a pro art extra large Ron Ranson hake brush, a 3/4" synthetic flat and a small unbranded caligraphy brush, My board is at an angle of about 45-60 degrees, my paper is Suanders Waterford cold pressed, taped to my board with ordinary decorators masking tape..
Many thanks to my lovely Patrons for your support! - บันเทิง

I watch you so much I can, on my TV. I am a great fun of your beautiful and axcellent work. On my tablet I send you my thanks, again.🥰🙌👏
It's lovely to hear your soothing English accent and see you paint in such a peaceful manner. Thanks from a Brit in California! We all need peace at the moment and you certainly draw us into the sanctuary of watercolor painting!
And thanks from France also 😘
It’s beautiful! Thank you for sharing:)))
Glad you enjoyed it! 🎨💐
Simply lovely! I’ve missed your sky/seascapes…….no disrespect at all to your flower paintings, which are great, but I'm in love with your loose style skies x
Thanks Sue, I like to keep a variety of styles and subjects here to encourage beginners to experiment as this is what leads to progress
Love it….. Need to give this a go.. My skies are very harsh and bit too busy….

As usual, a practice that's as good as any well planned master piece. And super relaxing too. Nice one Lois.
Thanks Graham, so kind as always, take care and stay well!

Thanks so much for your lovely comment 💐💕
Oh great thanks Loïs , tomorrow I would try it but what sort of green do you use on the sky ? Thanks for your answer 🤗
Thanks Jack, I used cobalt blue with a thin glaze of raw sienna once it was dry get the greenish hue on the sea
What brush is this your using for sky please 🙏
What do you actually do with your daily practices? Do you collect them?
I sell some, keep a few, paint on the back of some and recycle them, and give some away to my top tier Patrons on Patreon
Would have preferred it better without the seagulls... Otherwise lovely
Thanks for your feedback 🎨💐
