If the base had a rotating belt you could start with grass/runway, make it shrink and then have sky background. I think that is how they shot the Thunderbirds.
@@AndyRRR0791 no, the whole reason a plane takes off is because of the air that goes past the plane when it increases in speed. The faster the plane is going, the more air that goes past it and also under the wings generating lift and allowing it to take off. You'll notice that if you run normally it feels as if it is getting windier. However on a treadmill you cannot feel any wind and because you are stationary. The plane needs this "wind" so that it generates lift
One word: Beautiful! I watched the video and yes... . And of course it can always be crazier and more beautiful but... beautifully made! Good luck with the hobby and best regards from the Netherlands! Rob
Forget all the 'you shoulda' and "if only" and "why didn't you" comments; you have done something unique and fantastic. I love it. I've GOT to look at your channel, liked and subbed just on this video and will look at all your other stuff I see on it. Good luck on the first 10K subs.
Was thinking this is really cool, all it needs to do is bank and move 😱 You swiftly turned my dropped jaw into a closed mouth of disbelief! This is truly awesome
The sound of a RR Merlin engine even in a display makes the hair on the back of my neck tingle. Power! Nothing but power! I’ll take it over the roar of a jet any time. Patrick from Albuquerque
Spitfires & Mustangs have to be the most recognizable body style for WWII. This is cool though, it's spot- on even the way the engine powers down, with that "hit'n miss" sound. I need an air show in my life. We don't have enough of them in NYC.
Amazing stuff. I'm waiting for Hachette to hopefully do something really cool in the future, as I discovered them late and came way ,waaaaay too late for the Spit or Bismarck models.
I was looking for the "check out it here" in the description to buy one. This is soo cool I can watch it over and over. Perfect job. It would be very cool as a mustang too. Take care and thank u for the video
Nice!! Tip: When landing first the main wheels, then rear. Otherwise the plane could be tipped over by hitting a bump in the field. But still: very very nice 🤩
GR8 WORK - SERIOUSLY GR8 WORK! It must have been so much fun designing and building and programming all the actions. It’s just superb and has REALLY inspired me. Thank you.
what a build looked great normally electric motor's go from off to full speed in a second so well done for that you could do a jerky slow compression TDC fire start maybe a few fails before bursting into the V12 rev up, just watch some start video's. good to see the control surface movement
Pretty cool!! Well done. Wish there was a way to do this with magnetic levitation. Would be cool to have a safe non toxic, white and black smoke analog for full throttle and combat damage.
Utterly fantastic! Not to criticize on anyway whatsoever but adding machine gun barrel flashes and reports and some exhaust smoke on startup would push this 'over the moon'. Either way, utterly brilliant as is!.
Just a fine peice of work you have There. Just one small comment is these planes always landed with the main gear first not the tail wheel. But I am shure that can be adjusted. Like I said just a small nit pick but bloody awesome work well done.
I would love to see a Cessna Grand Caravan model start up like that with skydivers jumping out the side that would be cool. You could chop up some vegetables and make a stir fry.
Take my money. I love it. Would b sick if it was the same base with interchangeable planes. And chip plane connections so it make those individual plane sounds.
Ingenious! Superb! I think that my only critique - as the Spitfire is superbly modelled - is the vivid green of the grass. I did an art project many years ago and had the Spit at 5000' and ground portrayed accordingly. I like the idea of a supermarination type animation could that be done with your model? - you're obviously very skilled and the Spitfire itself is beautifully done✌️👍😊

Can a Spitfire on a treadmill actually take off...?
@@AndyRRR0791 Only if it pushed the plane along fast enough to generate airspeed.
If it went from grass to an aerial view with patches of land, that would be pretty neat.
Thunderbirds kick ass!

All the movements with working ailerons and elevators!!!! Bravo Sir!!!! Beautiful
Incredible, now we need a Thunderbird 2 like this
Beautifully done! Love the details of the flaps and ailerons lifting correctly with the maneuvers.

Wow even the Ailerons work but I think the right landing flaps are stuck. Great build!!!

Hi Rob
Hi Ringo
Hi flex
Okay,…that was insane! Astounding concept and finished presentation.
Wonderful! Congratulations on your skill and desire to preserve a bit of history for future generations.
Wow I was not expecting it to take off like that!!!
Very impressive ❤

That,by far, has got to be the coolest diorama I have ever seen
Was thinking this is really cool, all it needs to do is bank and move

Just great! What a lot of work. Beautifully done.

Looks fantastic. Really love the paint job on this too.
Your very own spitfire with realistic sound to boot FANTASTIC WORK !!!!
AWESOME work!!!!! Love the safety-switch cover.
That's a big boy toy right there. Just about the coolest thing I've seen a model plane do.
Beautiful work you,ve done on your Spitfire, at least your undercarriage goes up, mine dosent work anymore, love the weathering also well done
DUDE!!!!! AWSOME JOB!!!!!! The sound is perfect!!!!! My guess is you’re not done yet. I bet there’s another one on the bench right now.
That is dedicated model making. A brilliant way to display your model.
Amazing stuff. I'm waiting for Hachette to hopefully do something really cool in the future, as I discovered them late and came way ,waaaaay too late for the Spit or Bismarck models.
Wow! Sound and movement is beautiful.
Spitfire has always been my favorite.
This is absolutely awesome I'd buy one tomorrow if I could, outstanding
Now that should be the future of stationary models. Very cool 😎
This is the best the thing the Internet has done for me in a long time.
You talented bastard! You made me feel just a little more unskilled today!!! Amazing modeling!
So awesome. One of my 8th grade students just showed me this. Very impressive and super satisfying.
I was looking for the "check out it here" in the description to buy one. This is soo cool I can watch it over and over. Perfect job. It would be very cool as a mustang too. Take care and thank u for the video
That's absolutely awesome.. I could only thought to make it better. Real recordings of a low pass , and the .50s firing up. 👍
Extraordinario trabajo!!! Bravo!! Abrazo desde Buenos Aires, Argentina
Nice!! Tip: When landing first the main wheels, then rear. Otherwise the plane could be tipped over by hitting a bump in the field. But still: very very nice 🤩
Man, that’s amazing. Told my wife I wanted one and she gave me a strange look. I took it to mean I couldn’t have a spitfire without an Me 109 😂
Big respect to the Spitfire. I've seen 3 at Goodwood. Very lovely.
WHY HAVE I NOT SEEN THIS, THIS IS INCREDIBLE
Very handsome. Amazing, I even imagine the scene in flight and combat. Sounds very similar to the real thing. Congratulations!
I am watching in awe of this incredible work of art. I need to buy one, because I can’t make one in a million years.
GR8 WORK - SERIOUSLY GR8 WORK!
It must have been so much fun designing and building and programming all the actions. It’s just superb and has REALLY inspired me. Thank you.
even "the smoke traces" on the wings!!!
cool!!!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Amazing , now you got to build another one full scale for kids to sit in it or adults in a museum 😁😉👌🏽
Haven't seen a single comment about the sound, that was the best part to me
Absolutely beautiful!!!
I still have a Spitfire kit lying around... 🤔👍
Wow, what else can I say?
An amazing and original concept executed brilliantly. This is so cool!
Stunning ❤ A real work of art!
Bravo old chap!
TH-cam doesn't give me enough likes for this. Incredible stuff!
Stunning. I loved the paint job even more than the animation.
th-cam.com/video/m2glrVqYfxM/w-d-xo.html
Now that was the coolest thing I've ever seen! Something I'd play with!
I like seeing guns flashing and sounds, very cool.
@@scottgarrity989but expensive model more than 1600 euros 😢
A beautiful piece of work . Outstanding
Amazing ! Fantastic job you have done Sir !
I hope u will find investors and u can produce this kind of art in big numbers.. because I would love to have something like this OMG !!!!!
Hell yeah!!! Is all I could say when it fired up! So cool moving on the stand.
I have never seen one of these! And man have I been missing out. This is about as enjoyable as flying scale models.

Not if the throttle is calibrated
Cool, add some flames and it becomes awesome. Great build.
Keep your X-Boxes - I want one of these! Absolutely superb.
What a beautiful action model... Bravo !!!
Absolutely amazing 😍 One of the best creative things I've seen in a long while. Congratulations on all your hard work 👍
Very nice extra detailing and weathering. 👍
AWSOME, thank you for sharing! I’ve got to look for your build video!
Very excellent work there. I just love it.
Keep up the work.
You can sum this up in one word = AMAZING!!!
That is one of the most awesome things I've ever seen 😍
Very special great imagination and adaptation see a great deal of satisfaction come from this.
awesome!!! only needs a monitor at its back like old movies
A flyby sound would be amazing.
I have now seen the ultimate Spitfire model.
Beautiful model of a beautiful plane!
Wow...that is totally wonderbar! I just wish that you're my neighbour so that I can watch over the Spitfire for you 😁😇
Es de construcción artesanal? ESTÁ INCREÍBLE! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👌
Wow that's amazing, who would have thought such a thing exists. Respect! 👍 ps, I had a ride and, flew, a Spitfire last month at Biggin Hill, lucky me.
Oh my flipping spitifre! WOW this is truely amazing work well done, i Love it 👍👍👍👍
Pretty cool!! Well done. Wish there was a way to do this with magnetic levitation. Would be cool to have a safe non toxic, white and black smoke analog for full throttle and combat damage.

This is the best clip ive seen all year.

Soon as i started getting higher i was like wow, this is amazing and cool af
I think it is fantastic. Great work!
th-cam.com/video/m2glrVqYfxM/w-d-xo.html
That asymmetric flap extension would make for a hairy landing!!!😳🤪
But seriously... that's NEAT!
Yeah I'm not sure it would even be possible to land like that.
Love it. It only needs a sound effect where it takes fire and the engine loses power.
Very, very nice ! I love it ! I fly the Spitfire on RC ! Thanks !
wow.... i have never seen one of these kits.. amazing
Insuperable, creo que hemos llegado a un punto que no solo es hacer maquetas sino hacerlas reales con sonido ,luces y movimientos ,felicidades
That is the most epic model I've seen, your so talented, how did you even program that?????
Badass tablecloth, dude! You rock!
WoW! That’s so much fun! And it could chop up lettuce too! 😁👍
Brilliant. Could I suggest some red led's 'popping' in the exhausts.
Good landing 👍 tail wheel 1st & no bounce 🤣👍🇬🇧
That is an awesome model, perfect in every way...
Take my money. I love it. Would b sick if it was the same base with interchangeable planes. And chip plane connections so it make those individual plane sounds.
Nice 3 pointer
You have some serious talent.
awesome job. Very creative.. spitfires are badass.
OMG. What patience, let alone talent, you must have. Totally awesome !!!
MOM, BILLYS FLYING THE SPITFIRE IN THE KITCHEN AGAIN!
Ingenious! Superb!

Good work but please bend the wheel axles - the undercarriage looks like it came off a Me109
Wow that is impressive!! I thought it would just be the prop spinning
