We can't know when any announcement for a date from CIG is real - that's clear. But at some point, there may be a real SQ42 release date given. How burned are we that any date given by CIG will be regarded as phony?

We always hope for a release date announcement at CitizenCon and we're always disappointed. Is 2024 the year? Not holding my breath.
