The continuity with the "spikes and fire" bit.
Can we just talk about how absolutely gorgeous this film is? The dynamic lighting, the strong color palettes, THE SCORE... Everyone went 150 percent here.

Finally got the chance to watch the movie last night and I loved it. I was one of those wondering if any of these pirate kids were in the series itself but I let it go eventually lol. The movie really just reminded me how much I'm gonna miss this show.

This movie was absolutely stunning, This is coming from a huge fan of the series and started watching around a year ago. The lighting, the colour palettes, the score, the comedy, it’s all just… PERFECT!! Great review!!
3:04 was the funniest part of the video. The juxtiposition of JPs Grimmace overlayed with his usual harmless self was pure gold
My favorite scene and most favorite part of nostalgia is the dandelion scene when Craig reaches the wish maker. It is so beautiful and I love the scene where he first walks into the creek. I love the show with all my heart and the movie. Everything in the show and the movie about being a kid and exploring is such a beautiful concept to me. I also love how the movie and show deals with issues kids face in their lives. Like moving somewhere new, parents being strict or neglectful, hoarding junk, meeting toxic people, seeing the concept of good family and friends through Craig, his family, and his friends.
“This generations kids next door” im young enough to have been watching both as a “young child” (I’m still a child so idrk what to consider young by my own age) and honestly even tho I watched both at the same name I never have noticed how similar they are
Same. Being able to see both the older cartoons and the newer cartoons is something that I pride myself in

Shame on me for not knowing about this video sooner, because FINALLY, I have somewhere to talk about how this helped me fall back in love with the show! Season 4 had its great moments, don't get me wrong, but the Heart of the Forest arc ultimately fell a bit short to me, especially building up to the end. But this movie giving such a bittersweet introduction to Craig, Kelsey, and JP's friendship is exactly what I needed, and I really hope it'll tie into the rest of season 5 with Omar, Xavier, and Maya maybe starting to patch things up.
(Also forgive me for this obligatory "JP just wanted to fit in" part, he's my favorite, he's always awesome 😖🥹)

Good film, runtime kinda gives itself some pacing issues and not really developing JP and Kelsey all that much but i liked Craig and the main Villain's arcs being intertwined because of their similar goals of getting back to their old home, overall its a 6.9/10 and youll have a fun time as a Craig fan, i kinda miss CN Movies....
I loved the film, I have to say it gave me so good vibes, Serena was a great character it would be nice to have her on the main series. I only wish the last charpters of the seasson five can be finished and we get Craig of the creek end.

I honestly found this movie incredibly interesting 🤩, definitely CN best and maybe last original movie 😅, also I find Craig’s dad extremely different in this movie than how he is in the series 😅

I think it would have been hard, his mom did seem like the type of person that would want to her son's hair to be short versus an afro.

That's just CN things they always make movie out of nowhere without telling anybody, some of people i know who watch CN still didn't know regular show had a movie
The problem is people always stream stuff instead of watching cable and I hate it so much and this is how these things get unknown. I will never switch to streaming it will always have and love cable television I never miss any of these kind of details because I see the commercials and that's the benefit of not having crappy streaming
They need to make more craig of the creek seasons
Yeah it’s a damn masterpiece
They should continue with a "Tales from the Creek" (Summer in the Creek maybe) series where Craig and the gang could make cameos but we follow one shot stories of side characters from the show like Raj, Deltron, etc. and have an overarching plot that unites all if not most of the stories. A story featuring Wren and Deltron would've been cool. Here are so many side characters that could've had great stories if they had met.
The movie is so charming & can we talk about how the show and the movie itself is single handidly bringing back Third Wave Ska as a whole and this makes me so happy. Also I wish that as a young black nerd growing up I wish we had a Craig of the creek (not to say that I’m not thankful for what I grew up with of course)

Pretty much on the money. It invokes a feeling of nostalgia without having to use nostalgic properties.
@@Mannof1000Thoughts Definitely can respect that, it feels from living adult lives we often forget how imaginative our minds once were in our youth years regardless of generation and it’s cool for the movie to make a calling to that. Invokes us that sense of being in our school years playing out in the playground sorta like what grew me onto KND as a kid myself when that show was out, a lot of it was how we imagined playing with toy cars and action figures back home which we had also shared that alongside our school friends who’ve grown up just like us. Just cuts back to the basics, real nice quality of life movie for all ages as it helps reignite that inner child while giving a sense of relief into the real lesson of growing up into a different sense of lifestyle unfamiliar to before. Which such, comes with the act of growing up too
@@damian9303 Nostalgia isn't bad, but CN does seem to be waging a war on people for wanting reminders of when life was simpler.
To me it just feels like an attempt to erase history to make people give in to a nanny state where children aren't even allowed to play in their own yard.
They complain about kids not playing outside and it's because you have Karens who call the police on a mom for leaving their kids in the mall food court while she interviews in a nearby store.
Another example of people being too nosy is a kid getting a visit from CCPS because he stood outside and waited for a school bus on the wrong day.
Kids will play outside and use their imagination if adults let them.
Another thing I'm mad about is flash games.
A whole generation's pastime media was erased and everyone's acting like it isn't a big deal.
And it isn't the same as "no more cassettes or CDs or movies or DVDs" because those medias got carried over to the new streaming platforms.
Nobody made any moves to protect Flash Games and move the library up with new games. They all just got deleted and what we have is an emulator that doesn't work anymore because someone fiddled with it too much.
Cartoon Network is the worst offender of this because they even print a condescending note when you try to go back and play the adult swim games that used to be on the website, if you manage to find the links they buried under everything else.
Kongregate was a thriving flash-games site, and it had the rug pulled out from under it by the higher ups.
This is not an organic change by any means, where they said "nobody uses it so we'll get rid of it" plenty of people were still using it and they decided they didn't want to pay for it anymore.
That rant is just for anyone who wants to read it.

The craigvid the creekbis amazing and webwant an origin of it and this is the one I'm glad they make a movie about this to show the expressions before there happpy form or whatever but ya know it's kinda great to have something that brings it back I'll watch the movie 24 7

Looks like i found one of my new favorite channels
Oh my gosh was it exceptional. They took the imagination thing I adore from the show and cranked it up 10 FOLD! get it...fold??? anyway. the visulas were stunning, the voice acting was top notch. The songs were great especially the pirate one. The emotional scenes were perfect and well written.
i REALLLY want to make my own sort of trailer for this movie and make it more action-heavy and dramatic. there are SO MANY scenes that will fit the bill. this wouldve even been amazing in theatres but its not effing teen titans go i guess.
Anyway. I'm in awe at how amazing it was. It was a story that felt right at home with the series itself but offered SO MUCH MORE! I'm a HUGE fan of bob's burgers but i hated the movie. they tried to do the "like the series" kind of movie and failed. but THIS ....this is how u execute that. take what people know and love and amplify it x10.

Am i the only one who's pissed that they won't rerun the classics anymore for lame shows like this? Even Regular Show, the only CN show of the 2010s that felt genuinely amazing, isn't rerunning anymore. At least not in my country as i know it.
