It’s unbelievably scary to think that Adum was almost abducted, but it’s unbelievably funny to imagine that the men in the van were Daddy Derek, Cool Cat, and Erik Estrada saying “There he is!” 🤣
I saw Adam's "shoutout to human trafickers" tweet right when he posted it and I knew "this has to be some out of context thing that will be brought up in a future video"
I love how that reaper guy is all "oh did you tag this stream "gay" and "furry" as clickbait?" WHILE Adum is discussing the kink furry convention he went to in Vegas with his boyfriend.
I didn’t know Adam was in a relationship before this video! I don’t know why, maybe it has something to do with following his videos for as long as I have and seeing what kinds of things life has thrown his way, but hearing that he has a boyfriend made me smile so big. :) Totally unrelated to point of the video, I know, but I’m just so glad that Adam is seeing someone that makes him happy. He deserves it so much.
I didn't know he was seeing anyone either and now I'm kind of curious if he started dating this guy around the time I noticed him looking nicer. Like lately he's been slimming back down, his skin and hair are looking really healthy. I'll probably never find out lol but yeah I'm happy for him.
Re: the escape room experience, I’ve worked as a gamemaster at two escape rooms, and that’s the goal as a gamemaster! It’s a proud moment when you can steer the game along in a way that allows the players to be solving their final puzzle in the very last few seconds of the game. You memorize how long each puzzle typically takes so you can send out clues accordingly. It’s also such a thrill when you can tell your players are Into It! Nothing worse than a low-energy game where you have to keep prodding the players into engaging with the rooms. I miss hearing people yell at each other and work together in that frantic way lol. Just wanted to comment that it sounds like you gave your gamemaster a good game!
Aw that's sweet! I was a mascot for a transformers exhibition where I got to wear a bumblebee costume and go out in the exhibits and goof around. My favourite thing about it is that there's not really a big, like, 'plot' thing for it. So my buddy will wear a Starscream suit and 'terrorise' the kids by laughing at them or just acting mean. And one of the guides who's in on it will keep reprimanding Starscream and ask if there were any Autobots who could come and deal with him. And that's my cue. I'll come from behind a curtain and the kids will go crazy. Fun times.
Adam (after the taxi drops him off at the hotel): I'd give that ride a 6/10. The driver wasn't too chatty, but he kept the windows rolled up and it got really hot in there. Adam (after playing slot machines): This slot is a solid 7/10. It paid off decently and wasn't too expensive. But they could have been more creative with the pictures. I mean, cherries? Adam (at the hotel pool): 2/10. Way too crowded. The music is too loud and it sucks. The water is over-chlorinated. Get me out of here. Adam (walking through the Nevada desert): I'm giving this desert an 8/10. The sand isn't too soft, which makes walking easier. There are some nice landscapes to look at. It's quiet and empty. Could use a little more water.
Laughing as he's running away from the abductors is weirdly relatable, I once had nearly nightmare fuel awkward interaction at a store I thought was going to get me into a panic attack but by the end of it I found myself genuinely laughing and crying all the way back home, not from social nervousness. First and only experience of it so far, it's very interesting to consider of it's a broader phenomenom in a group of certain people.
I'm about 5 hrs away and it's like an Oasis compared to Salt Lake City. Even if you're not sure you'll come home safe. Don't look into the hotels where shootings happened because their rates will not be cheaper
Adams story about almost getting abducted is horrifying. Being in that situation sounds near hopeless especially with them constantly following you. I wouldn’t be able to sleep well for a while if that happened to me.
I completely understand the whole "getting stuck in a loop" while tripping. I used to have that fear every time I tripped until about my 1st time tripping alone, and that changed everything. For some reason, I never had that fear again. Like I recognize it as a thing, but just throw the thought away and enjoy the trip
You'd need to act super secretive about it too. Pretend you left it there on accident, and when get back snatch it up and immediately start interrogating then on whether they looked through it.

Oh wow this is relatable when it comes to drinking too much and hangovers. Blacking out, not wanting to run out of booze, the bruises on the knees, 'liquid confidence', waking up drunk hours later (room spinning, nausea, fatigue, dehydration, etc), vivid dreams, and detox days. hoooo boi.

@adum a possible reason for the laughter while running (aside from being drunk of course) is the fact that adrenaline is poisonous and one of the main ways the body gets rid of it is laughing
@ 49:47 theres always this one guy in any group that has to bring this up when they hear the word peanut. no, they arent botanical nuts. but neither are macadamias, brazil nuts, almonds, walnuts, pecans, cashews or pistachios. the only true nuts commonly eaten are either roasted over open fires in christmas songs or ground into nutella. almost every nut youve ever easten from a nut tin wasnt "technically a nut" and nobody give a shit. nobody ever brings that up. nobody cares. yes, we know tomatoes are fruits. yes, people from phoenix are called phoenicians. now stop with the dumb pointless factoids that add nothing to anything.
