They are acting so hard in this mv. I love Jongup's dance of betrayal before the final shootout

Yeah this song is definitely one where you have two first listens- once watching the mv and then just listening to the song without the mv. Just like One Shot this one has two other b-sides instrumentals from their Noir album (absolute banger of an album). The one at the beginning with the chanting you really liked is Pray which is the rap-line song with only Yongguk and Zelo with pretty heavy lyrics but it's really really good and the lighter sounding instrumental during the Daehyun flashback scenes is Fermata which is the vocal unit song. If you watch live stages of this Yongguk won't be performing with them because he didn't promote this comeback as he was taking a break due to panic/anxiety disorder but he's back for the single after this Wake Me Up (which he wrote) where the choreo of his entrance for the live stages legit made me tear up the first time I saw it.
The first vocalist you called out, right before Yongguks' rap I think, is Youngjae I always love his runs in the songs especially since his voice is really suited for that kind of style. The one who's acting you complimented at the end where you paused before his throat got shot is Daehyun and he's also the main vocalist you really really like, he's only been in musicals, but he took acting classes for preparation for this mv since he was the main character. Youngjae is really the only one who has done more serious acting in dramas. One Shot and this one are really the only two that are like mini movies in that sense and they have no connection to each other. But some of their other mvs have self contained stores within them but those are a bit more like classic mvs where the story is representative of an idea they want to explore like Wake Me Up which deals with mental health stuff and has english lyrics or Honeymoon which while not technically their last comeback as a group feels to me like more of a goodbye/we are free song than Hands Up which was actually their last group comeback.
It's also interesting to see your thoughts on their vocals since you are jumping between their pre and post hiatus songs. When they settled with TS and came back to promoting they had all really improved from where they started especially Jongup! I found them super easy to tell apart. I will say this is a group that going by how they sound will be much easier- Yongguk and Zelo are really the only two who rap and have long rap verses and they have completely different voices so if the rapper has a deep voice it's Yongguk, who you were paused on at the end of the video, and if the rap is higher toned and faster it's Zelo. The main vocalist you've consistently called out in each video with the really powerful voice is Daehyun.

I very much agree, I should do a separate one of just the song for sure!
Youngjae has some amazing runs! its a bit of an amazing dynamic between the two, I feel like Youngjae does good runs and Daehyun straight up has the power to do so much!
I love the fact that happens, its shows me that they always had the talent and it keeps me on my toes haha!

It's hard to get a proper feeling for the song Skydive from the music video. It's just too much to take in. I would suggest listening to it on its own at some point. It's actually a very good song.
The piece of music at the beginning of the video that you liked is the song Pray. The other song in the video, apart from Skydive, is Fermata. The detail that went into this video is pretty amazing. Jongup played the bad guy and he even had Russian mafia style tattoos painted on his hands.
Daehyun is the vocalist you're talking about, although at this point in their careers, Daehyun, Youngjae, Jongup and Himchan were all good vocalists. Daehyun and Youngjae (kidnap victim in One Shot) were the original vocalists, but they helped train Jongup and Himchan, so by the end of B.A.P., the vocals were just outstanding.
If at some point you want to watch a live of Skydive, odds are Yongguk (deep voice rapper and leader) won't be in it. After holding the team together through the court battle with their agency and then their first comeback, around the time that Skydive came out, Yongguk had to go on extended hiatus with severe anxiety/panic disorder. His comeback song was Wake Me Up. Wake Me Up is probably another song where it would be good to watch the music video. Maybe 1004 (Angel) as well. That's also a very good video.

Definitely listen to the track without the MV it really does make a difference . Yes Daehyun is the one that stood out to you with the fantastic vocals but I also think Youngjae has great vocals to . Himchan and Jongup also have good vocals.

I actually prefer this song and mv, partly because my bias Jong Up is the bad guy and he does it so well.
Daehyun is the vocalist you mean. He’s the main character in this whose girl got killed. The stare at the end you paused. And Jong Up is the bad guy. Jong as in Jonghyun and Daehyun also like Jonghyun. Remember that the two syllable names each part is a name itself.
The other main vocalist is Yongjae who was the betrayer in the other video and he is also an actor but Daehyun has done musicals. And like you said they are all good vocalists but Daehyun and Yongjae are main vocals.
Deep voiced rapper is Yongguk who was following the girl around in the cuter video. Yongguk is the leader. Speedy rapper is maknae Zelo. Zelo is pronounced like jello.
Final one is Himchan who is now on trial for SA.

haha! Kristen liking the bad guy 😏
I gotta remember that, all my lingual knowledge just seems so different that its so set in my brain!
they are so so so so good! I love their voices!
Yongguk has been very good! jello? did you say jello?
      oh... Himchan...thats disappointing

@@Killdeer25 Yes Zelo like jello. So not Zeelo which is how I originally thought it would be pronounced. Also the Z sound, they pronounce more like ‘dz’ so it actually does sound like they’re calling him jello.
I picked up on the names/some words just by the sheer amount of hours I spend watching dramas and non musical kpop content. The variety shows and behind the scenes stuff etc. So I just paid a lot of attention to how they pronounce the names. One of these days I’ll have to download one of those languages apps and start learning Korean.
I am often fond of the bad guy. They have more fun! Haha.
But Himchan turned out to be a real life bad guy. Absolutely not into that.
