    Dope beat 🔥 i have the MK2 as well and i use the warmsaturator + 303 vinyl sim a lot as master FX

      Hey brother, thank you so much for the input and I love that you mentioned that because I have not really explored the warm saturator as much but after you mentioned this I’m a dive a little deeper into that one.

    I use the Mpc 1k jjosXl or Mpc one with the Sp404. I run everything through the Sp into reasons sequencer. Pretty much just use the Sp for coloration and the amazing effects. It’s a weird workflow I’ve got accustom to. The Sp sound makes such a difference and cuts my time in half during the final stages of the beat. Vocals sound 🔥 as well

    Just got the MPC live 2 , I start getting ahead of myself and hit a wall , but watching videos like yours brings me back to center . Thanks

    Love the way you can effect drums with the MKII! Use the catch very low and it mimics the tape being caught, hence catched, while it would be in a real player.

    I've always been interested in the 404 but like you said, it's not NEEDED but dope to have and play around with, especially those FX. Also, nice beat!

    I can't wait to see what you do when/if AKAI includes a 48khz sample rate update so the MPCs recognize the SP-404MK2 as an audio interface.

      It’s such a bummer that they’re still having issues sending these out but hope you get your soon. I’m sure you’re gonna love it.

    Dope video bro ‼️ I like to use the 303 vinyl sim and the warm saturation. The 303 compressor is way too good to only be one knob.

    Great setup! Considering the SP to add here as well ;) Question: you're using headphones, wireless. How does that go? Bluetooth to...?

    Where can I get good drums sounds like those ? I’m a old hip hop dude , that’s the sound of drums I like . Phat and simple , so chill it’s complicated .

    Could you make a video how you record your video sound? You record your voice and everything what comes from the mpc

      Thank you so much for this request, these are the type of topics that I would enjoy talking about but would not be sure if anybody would watch lol. I’ll be working on this one very soon

    I really appreciate your note at the beginning that having a 404 in addition to an MPC is a luxury. It demonstrates you taking responsibility for the GAS of your viewers. 😊
    I'd love to hear what you think the 404 adds to your setup. You mention that it's "fun" to use, is that it? A video where you focus on what it brings to YOUR setup and workflow would be really interesting.

    • @malobeats
      @malobeats  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey David, thank you so much for your time and question. This would be an awesome video, and to summit up in a few words here via text the 404 has given me so many ideas and inspiration throughout my workflow being able to listen to the overall sound of my beats with certain effects and textures really does bring creativity to some of my ideas while I’m building a track and that alone has been my deepest connection with this 404.

      @@malobeats So basically the effects that you can apply to the master and hearing things in new ways? Would definitely like to see the longer video answer in the future. Happy Easter!

    dat BASS boyyy! nice, could i record a live set the SP's SD or do you need an external recorder ? cause i think pads have a 16 min max...

  • @MrCosmicVictory
    @MrCosmicVictory 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    so, question, i have the same setup (more or less), im wondering if i should just do any audio in from the sp first, then to mpc. in that way, i sample it with the effects already. considering that vinyl sim with the noise/pop, to simulate as real as possible, where the sample loops, the vinyl noise should repeat also on each loop to be realistic. it makes a difference on the samples, but what about the drums? the compression can be heard with the drums, but not the noise & warp sound on the drums (unless im wrong?) 🤔

  • @creativedwill

    Bro I see you have Wireless headphones. Do you get any Latency when performing on the live with the wireless headphones

    • @malobeats
      @malobeats  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey brother, no these wireless headphones have been amazing and I’ve been using them for music production as I noticed no latency whatsoever. They are nearly perfect in my personal experience the only downside would have to be that when you are using them wirelessly you’re not able to crank up the volume as much as I would like to but I got used to it so I’m OK with it

    How to deal with bit and sample rate difference ?

    • @ManuelMarty
      @ManuelMarty ปีที่แล้ว

      I guess it does not matter because the sound is going analog into the SP
