I found this fascinating to watch, the way it changed from what I thought it was going to be into another form, then from that into another ... I'm still torn over which form I liked the best!
I've done a few bits of turning but will hopefully be doing more once I've converted my big bedroom into a workshop (yes I live alone) ... thank you for the inspiration.

Afternoon Jack. I just read through the comments and most were spot on. In fact, they reflect my thoughts to your last piece which was beautiful. Many people enjoy woodturning and most do okay, but not good. You enjoy turning and you're good at it which in the end, is something we all benefit from; including you.

Watching from Costa Rica! My grandpa used to turn wood as one of his hobbies...very comforting to watch and hear the sounds of the tools as they touch the wood on the lath...fun to watch your creations!

It's a "sponge gourd loofa" and resin...haven't found any vids on this combination yet...👍
