  • This is a separate mount for Panoptix Livescope instead of mounting to a Minn Kota trolling motor.

That’s exactly what I was thinking for mounting to the boat. Make another video to show us how it stows away from traveling please.

3/4 schedule 40 will not go in schedule 40 1 inch...I like the thicker pvc so I used 1/2 with couplings at both ends to center it and slip joints to make it adjustable to other boats and fishing docks

I have a very similar mount. C ball on boat side. 9” ram arm connected to a very very rigid Summit Pole. Tightened as hard as I can and as soon as you troll over 1mph the drag makes it all crooked. I don’t know how pvc can remain rigid under the pressure of flowing water when trolling. I’d like to see a video trolling an average 1.5-2.0 mph and see how straight the pole sits 👌

it seems to be pretty wobbly... have you had any issues with that on the water?

Actually it's pretty stable, no issues at all. Even when my iPilot is under full power it stays nice and straight.

Why did you go below the trolling motor. That puts you at risk of damaging the transducer. Not critiquing by any means. Asking so I know the reason. I run mine about 12" below the surface.

I went below the trolling motor so the line of site was clear for a 360° rotation.

@@Hodgey1968 oh ok that makes sense. I only fish the front 180°ish..
But honestly even at 12" under the water I don't think I have any interference rotating 360°.
I'll have to take it out and check now.

Have you had any problems hitting the transducer on anything under water while running the trolling motor or while searching for fish with another person in the boat while one of you slow trolls the boat and the other operates the swivel on the Panoptics mount? If so, have you made any alterations to your setup to prohibit damage to the transducer? Thank you!

Good job sir. Do you mind sharing the Tee and RAM mount sizes you used for attaching to the boat?

Hi new subscriber here. Thankx for this video i recent just got me the livescope too. Trying to learn as much as i can. What size ram and ballmount are you using with it. Also if its not a bigg hassle could you make a video on how to fine tune it so you can see the fishes and stuff under the water.?
