I did sushi today first time after watching and I subbed. My biggest issues were not having a sharp enough knife and for the life of me I could not get the plastic wrap to stay on the makisu.
A sharp knife is very important for sure. If you're looking to invest in a new knife, be sure to watch this video first: th-cam.com/video/AHKjmW9aGvU/w-d-xo.html. If your plastic wrap isn't wide enough for the makisu, which might be the reason why it's not staying on there. You can wrap half of it and then the other half, overlapping the plastic parts. The crab one would be the only roll that I would eat i can’t stand spam and i hate tomatoes but i LOVE nigiri!!!
The crab salad roll is great! And you can always swap or substitute different ingredients to your liking.
