A warrior fights and kills so others dont have to
I saw as he ran through the smoke, flying rubble and burning shrapnel. I watched him carry man after man back to our platoon. I witnessed him as he bled, cried, sweat, and broke himself again and again and again. 29 of our men, he returned that day. The soldiers he saved later called him their savior, their saint, their hero. And those he couldn't, well... before they all passed. They all kept repeating one thing before the life left from their eyes. "Thank you, Reaper." Later. We were all confused as to who that man was. We wanted to know his name, to give thanks and appreciation. But according to the commanding officers, there was no such man that day. No one knew who that man's name was. Witness accounts to this man all stated that he bore no rank on his uniform, and each of their descriptions as to what he physically looked like were all different. The last anyone had seen of him, was him carrying one of our privates back to us, who was barely holding on to life. And unfortunately, as the medic put him on the ground and started patching him up and giving him aid, the private's pulse stopped. His haunting final words were the same as the rest that had fallen with him at their side. And as if he were to go get another, he ran through a blazing wall of fire and debris that had flared up in the middle of the street in front of us from an explosive. And as it cleared, he was no where to be found. As time went on and the war ended in our victory. I was able to piece together a better name for this mysterious person that I only ever saw once, something I truly consider to be, supernatural. For someone or something, bearing so many forgotten names and faces of history's vastly unnoticed heroics, achievements and rankings. What better way to name this soul, "The Unknown Soldier". A fitting title for something bound to no flag or regime, only the duty a loyal soldier could know. A duty to his fellow man. (Sorry to let anyone down, but as a disclaimer. This story is fictional and was made up by me. Thanks to the video for inspiring this tale.)
In womb i was formed, destined for greatness. In life i was forged, an unconquerable will. In love a was driven to do better, an immortal vow to another. To war i was called, heeding the cry for help. In battle i was tempered, strong and unbreaking. In victory was raised, higher then the foe. In defeat i was humbled, educated for the next battle. In death.....i shall stand, glorious and proud, for i have crafted a world of peace. And unto those who do harm upon another I issue a warning.....there is always more of me.
This song and the comments reminded me of why we fight, I remember how I wondered why we fight we do our. Parents fight for our survival and now I remember why! It's because we fight to protect everything we love and not to destroy what we hate, so remember when you're about to pick a fight ask yourself if you pick it to destroy your enemy or to protect what you love. And also this song brings me bravery to do stuff!
Words cannot describe what I am feeling right now but I know that we all share one spirit through music and that's the spirit of determination facing the demon of despair.

People have gotten hurt from my actions, I lost trust, I lost friends, I lost my hope, yet I keep going, you wanna know why, because in my heart I’m a Knight, born to protect no matter the cost, to make sure that innocent people will live, even if I die, I’m an atheist, yet part of me feels like someone is keeping me going, it’s not my mother, as she has made me have thoughts of being nothing but a corpse, it’s not my close friends as I have lost them to my anger, I don’t know who gets me up in the morning to push through the day, but whoever you are, thank you.
I looooved the thrum that came at 1:39 and picked up for the rest of the track makes it sound like it’s all or nothing, the only hope left, like a ticking clock counting down the final moments
I would say the difference between a warrior and soldier is the reason that is forcing them to do one step after the other and to keep moving foward: the warrior is carrying noone but himself, the soldier is carrying nothing but his world...the bravery and faith these two have in the things they value the most whilst facing death straight into the eye is something you would only be able to feel if you are there on the battlefield. I think this is one of many situations where a human being truly shines because those are the moments where you can be completely honest to yourself, whether you've been forced to fight or not, wether you regret your decisions that have led you to this place and time or not...those who experienced smth like this are truly smth else
When in battle, you must always show respect to your enemy by showing no mercy, and giving them a quick and painless death. In doing so, you acknowledge their cause, and stand against it respectfully. It shows that you do not trample on other's reason to fight. You may not know why they fight against you, but even so, you must always give it the respect it's due.

The soldiers he saved later called him their savior, their saint, their hero. And those he couldn't, well... before they all passed. They all kept repeating one thing before the life left from their eyes.
"Thank you, Reaper."
Later.
Sounds similar to Desmond Doss
This track is one of very few that can open a gateway to another world!
What's this from??
A hero isn't someone who starts a war, let alone one who fights one. A hero is the one who ends a war.
“When the time is right, you’ll know exactly what to do- because the choice will be yours to make.”
One of the most motivating music ever created
And my motivation just went up to infinity and beyond. Can't wait for that album.
Fear is no policy. Surrender is no option!
"Do you know whats there waiting beyond that beach? Immortality, its yours, TAKE IT!!"

"Did you shoot any?"
"Yes, like 50 of 'em! They kept trying to attack my cousins, what the heck would you do in a situation like that?"
-Napoleon Dynamite
Finally! A man of culture
“Some trees flourish, others die. Some cattle grow strong, others are taken by wolves. Some men are born rich enough and dumb enough to enjoy their lives. Ain’t nothing fair.” 'John Marston'
Can’t remember the exact quote, or who made it, but “Quitting is more painful than failure will ever be. At least you know what would happen if you tried.” To whomever may read this, I don’t know how you got here, who you are or what you’re life is, but screw everything. Screw humanity, limits, setbacks, anything and do what makes you happy. You only have so much time, and all of ours are different.
Tracks like these sparks so much musical inspiration for me😃
"War is Hell..... I know, I was in it!!!" - A US Marine, Fallujah, Iraq, 1st Battalion, 3rd Marines - Nov 2004.
every time you release a new piece, the writers' muse in me bursts free from the ashes of creative blockage, and like a mighty phoenix new life is breathed into my work.
Keep up the stellar tunes! I can't wait to hear the new albums and add them to my collection.
I feel the same way when I see an awesome peice of art, movie, or music. Instantly inspires me to create
Wars do not make men great but they do bring out the greatness in men
Absolutely outstanding piece. The story, presentation and emotional qualities bestowed upon the listener invokes a multitude of moods, from uncertainty to accomplishment this has it all and more. Unlike most composers, you just get better with each release. I know this might be my bias towards your work since I do have an ear for this type of music but you Secession Studios, are a legend in the making. I said it before and will again, keep climbing and never stop.

I am bound in light, however shrouded in darkness. No weapon formed against me shall prosper
I love this song
Straight in my playlist 🤩🤩🤩🤩🇫🇷
Mine too x

" *May the eyes of cowards never sleep* "
-Khalid Ibn Alwalid
When in battle, you must always show respect to your enemy by showing no mercy, and giving them a quick and painless death.
In doing so, you acknowledge their cause, and stand against it respectfully. It shows that you do not trample on other's reason to fight. You may not know why they fight against you, but even so, you must always give it the respect it's due.
This song really fits a timeline where you build something small that ends up becoming big
