I think the reasons we used to buy luxury goods are no longer valid. I love the feel of a well-made, buttery soft leather bag. Now that these mansions are cutting corners and jacking up prices, young people don't see the value and the luxury side, so all that's left is for them to see. I'm not a backpack person and usually carry a purse with me, but I wanted something that was easier to carry and less carried over the shoulder. I bought the smaller size, but it holds 2 water bottles, snacks, a couple of light sweaters, and a bunch of other small things. I like that the opening is in the back, great for travel.
