hey - for repairs in London we recommend The Restory and I don't think Chanel will add links for you but you could try The Handbag Clinic or The Restory too for that - some of my taller clients have had this done in order to wear the bags cross body! I don't think Chanel would repair the bag after this has been done though - there is a thread on :Purse forum if you're interested to read more xx

They're all made in China these days and often times the really good fakes are made in the exact same factory, on the exact same asembly line as the authentic ones. I have a friend who actually used to work for a high end designer company in China. His job was selecting which factory to use to produce the designer product. The factory that is manufacturing the authentic product just produces their order for Chanel, or Hermes, or whatever, and then they just run through an extra 1,000 bags to sell on the replica market.
