A bag shape is not copyrightable, only the logos and certain techniques. It's not a problem to sell a similar shape as long as you are not trying to sell it are an original, which is then actual *esluxs* . I, however, will buy and wear what I like with no regard to what other people are wearing.

I bought a *amzrepe* super fake because I was still undecided on whether I liked it enough to buy the real deal. It arrived and it was great, I didn't need to buy the original one. The attention to detail is amazing and even shows in all the packaging and labels. It does make me feel a certain way about the designers selling these bags. They were selling it for about 10 times what I paid. They are ripping people off. Hermès is the worst at this - I imagine them in the board room laughing at how much people are prepared to pay.

Some time ago, when I went to a friend's house to play, I saw the bag she bought. It was so beautiful that I drooled with envy. They're all made in China these days and often times the really good fakes are made in the exact same factory, on the exact same asembly line as the authentic ones. I have a friend who actually used to work for a high end designer company in China. His job was selecting which factory to use to produce the designer product. The factory that is manufacturing the authentic product just produces their order for Chanel, or Hermes, or whatever, and then they just run through an extra 1,000 bags to sell on the replica market. THE HIGHER END $500 PLUS REPLICA BAGS ARE EXACTLY THE SAME EVERYTYHING. NEVER EVER WASTE YOUR MONEY ON A REAL DESIOGNER BAG!!!
That's like going grocery shopping and paying $2.69 for a can of Green Giant green beans compared to Great Value (generic) for .89 cents! They're all manufactured at the same place!! I’ve seen LV and Chanel fakes and know how to get them if I wanted (Asian community) since like the 1990s. So it’s nothing new at all. When I Was first "getting into" luxury handbags, I purposely bought a Gucci Marmont. I purchased a vintage Chanel bag without bag but with authentication card that looks real. On the outside it ticks off all the boxes. On the inside, the lining is flaking. Yes, flaking right off revealing a cloth underneath. The bag lived for 14 years in Singapore in very humid hot climate. Of course although it looks like an authentic it must be a super fake
I wouldn't jump to conclusions just because the inside lining is flaking. Could be the previous owner stuffed it too full, used it all the time, put scratchy stuff inside (like unprotected keys), etc. Furthermore, Singapore's climate is no joke lmao. I live in Singapore, and i have to use a electronic dehumidifier machine (those that can dehumidify your whole home, albeit with this climate it can only dehumidify my bedroom effectively) to keep my bags dry and mould-free. Leave a bag alone for a few days, mould starts to grow. Many of my leather goods (bags, wallets, shoes, you name it) had succumbed to mould the last few years and i had to throw them away. They were all beyond repair. It would have been cheaper to buy new ones than send them for repair. Unfortunately many of them were branded goods 🥲🥲 It's insanely humid and warm here, perfect breeding ground for mould. Humidity averages 80-100% at night and 60-80% during the day (during CLEAR and SUNNY days. And it rains here 2/3 of the year. You can only imagine what it's like most of the time 🥲). Temperatures average about 28°C (at night) to 33°C (during the day) throughout the year. No seasons here, summer all year round. Not surprised that your lining may have been destroyed by mould, if the previous owner didn't take care of it properly.
I own an authentic Gucci bag. I purchased it preloved and it was flaking….I simply scraped the lining of all of the peeling and it looks sooooo much better. Yours is probably the real deal.
That doesnt necessarily mean it's fake though, many of my LV makeup bags and bags have fallen apart and have started peeling (inside), I think it's from perfume and lotions which contain alcohol.. it can cause the coating to separate from the leather lining.

The pleating on the tissue paper is not a must. My SA doesn’t do the pleating. I didn’t even know about it until I bought a bag from another boutique and saw how the other SA packaged it.
A bag shape is not copyrightable, only the logos and certain techniques. It's not a problem to sell a similar shape as long as you are not trying to sell it are an original, which is then actual *esluxs* . I, however, will buy and wear what I like with no regard to what other people are wearing.

I bought a *amzrepe* super fake because I was still undecided on whether I liked it enough to buy the real deal. It arrived and it was great, I didn't need to buy the original one. The attention to detail is amazing and even shows in all the packaging and labels. It does make me feel a certain way about the designers selling these bags. They were selling it for about 10 times what I paid. They are ripping people off. Hermès is the worst at this - I imagine them in the board room laughing at how much people are prepared to pay.

Some time ago, when I went to a friend's house to play, I saw the bag she bought. It was so beautiful that I drooled with envy. When I kept asking, she embarrassedly told me that it was at *unidups* I was shocked that I didn’t notice the replicas I bought above were fake. They actually made them indistinguishable from the originals. I started to wonder whether I had to spend thousands of dollars to buy the originals.
Paying $10,000 plus for a purse is sooo incredably stupid!!! They're all made in China these days and often times the really good fakes are made in the exact same factory, on the exact same asembly line as the authentic ones. I have a friend who actually used to work for a high end designer company in China. His job was selecting which factory to use to produce the designer product. The factory that is manufacturing the authentic product just produces their order for Chanel, or Hermes, or whatever, and then they just run through an extra 1,000 bags to sell on the replica market. THE HIGHER END $500 PLUS REPLICA BAGS ARE EXACTLY THE SAME EVERYTYHING. NEVER EVER WASTE YOUR MONEY ON A REAL DESIOGNER BAG!!!
That's like going grocery shopping and paying $2.69 for a can of Green Giant green beans compared to Great Value (generic) for .89 cents! They're all manufactured at the same place!! Thanks for the video. I will say that fakes have been around for yeaaarrrrssss. I think it’s just brought to light now because of social media. I’ve seen LV and Chanel fakes and know how to get them if I wanted (Asian community) since like the 1990s. So it’s nothing new at all. If it seems a lot maybe people are just more aware with educational videos on authentic vs fake versus before. I wouldn’t let fakes and replicas change my mind on purchasing a bag or not. Honestly the quality of the Chanel bags these days isn’t even worth the price. I’ve seen so many wear and tares in newly purchased bags. I have a vintage from the 90’s and the quality is just superb even till now
When I Was first "getting into" luxury handbags, I purposely bought a Gucci Marmont. I wasn't trying to show off, or brag, or pass it off as the real thing, I just wanted to see if it would fit what I wanted it to and how it would live with me (without the SA staring at you) before I shelled out the money for the real thing. Perception is everything, I remember saving up for my first LV and some coworkers automatically thought it was fake because I was a young black girl. At that point I really stopped caring what people's opinions were, people will always have their opinions based on how you look. After this I shopped in LYXBAG . If you drive a Bentley and get out of the car with a fake Hermès, no one will question you.

I purchased a vintage Chanel bag without bag but with authentication card that looks real. On the outside it ticks off all the boxes. On the inside, the lining is flaking. Yes, flaking right off revealing a cloth underneath. The bag lived for 14 years in Singapore in very humid hot climate.
Of course although it looks like an authentic it must be a super fake
I wouldn't jump to conclusions just because the inside lining is flaking. Could be the previous owner stuffed it too full, used it all the time, put scratchy stuff inside (like unprotected keys), etc. Furthermore, Singapore's climate is no joke lmao. I live in Singapore, and i have to use a electronic dehumidifier machine (those that can dehumidify your whole home, albeit with this climate it can only dehumidify my bedroom effectively) to keep my bags dry and mould-free. Leave a bag alone for a few days, mould starts to grow. Many of my leather goods (bags, wallets, shoes, you name it) had succumbed to mould the last few years and i had to throw them away. They were all beyond repair. It would have been cheaper to buy new ones than send them for repair. Unfortunately many of them were branded goods 🥲🥲 It's insanely humid and warm here, perfect breeding ground for mould. Humidity averages 80-100% at night and 60-80% during the day (during CLEAR and SUNNY days. And it rains here 2/3 of the year. You can only imagine what it's like most of the time 🥲). Temperatures average about 28°C (at night) to 33°C (during the day) throughout the year. No seasons here, summer all year round. Not surprised that your lining may have been destroyed by mould, if the previous owner didn't take care of it properly.
I own an authentic Gucci bag. I purchased it preloved and it was flaking….I simply scraped the lining of all of the peeling and it looks sooooo much better. Yours is probably the real deal.
That doesnt necessarily mean it's fake though, many of my LV makeup bags and bags have fallen apart and have started peeling (inside), I think it's from perfume and lotions which contain alcohol.. it can cause the coating to separate from the leather lining.

I know some wealthy women who carry knockoffs. The main reason they give is that they simply understand the value of money and don't want to spend too much on bags...so more people go for stylish *amzrepe* bags. However, they do spend a lot on fine jewelry and other things.
