Having recently bought an MGB GT, I'm working my way through the lubrication schedule. This video is perfect for when I get to the diff - thank you so much. I can even purchase the Penrite 80/90 in NZ! Cheers, Geoff
Pretty easy job to do Mathew. I changed the oil again a few weeks after the 1st time so that the diff could have a good flush out. Thanks for your comments. Cheers
Nice Video! That was certainly a very thick clumpy oil draining out! Did you notice any difference in driving afterward? Noise change from the rear end?
The oil was glugy but it is a higher viscosity than engine oil. I can't say that i've noticed a difference from before and after, but at least I know the oil is now fresh. I'll probably do it again in a few weeks to flush out any old oil. Cheers
Extremely very helpful, educational, enjoyable and detail. Much appreciate it. 🙏🏻🇺🇸🇬🇧
Thanks for your kind words. Cheers

Having a pump made the job much easier. I repeated the process after a month or so to give the diff a good flush. Cheers
Useful for me, great job putting the wisdom out there. Will tackle this in the coming weeks. Cheers
Glad it was helpful!
I have put this off and it is a must for me... 30 plus year old fluid... I dont know why I havent done it yet, nice car brother!

I just used a 3/4 drive ratchet
What a good idea. Didn't think about that at the time. Cheers
