  • In this video we hike the Main Range Walk, which is a 22km loop located in the Kosciuszko National Park.
    A map of the Main Range Walk can be found here - www.nationalpa...
    We started and finished this hike from Charlotte Pass, and made our way around the loop walking in an epic anticlockwise direction.
    Further details about the Kosciuszko National Park can be found on the National Parks' website - www.nationalpa...

    Mount Kosciuszko, located in the Snowy Mountains of New South Wales, Australia, is the highest mountain on the Australian continent. While it may not be as tall as some of the world's most famous peaks, it still offers plenty of opportunities for adventure and exploration.

    I loved that Luke, thanks ! I have walked up to Mt Kosciuszko from Thredbo, via the chairlift. The wildflowers were superb. It was a perfect blue day, no wind. Thanks for your filming, it was great.

      Hello Penny, heading up there from Thredbo is also a nice way to go. It's so surreal up there in the mountains. Glad to hear that you enjoyed the video - thank you for watching!

    Good video , bad luck it was too windy and cloudy to enjoy it properly. I did it on Christmas Day 2022 , it was all clear and Almost no wind.. slightly on hotter side but it was good.

      That would have been so surreal. When there's no wind sound and it's completely quiet, it's like nothing else. I'd definitely be keen to head on up there again on a clear day. Cheers

    I somehow managed to do the main range via the summit loop in one day. My friends surprised me, I thought we were going back the way we came to Charlotte Pass, but nope, we got back down to the fork of the summit track and they said ''no we're going this way'' (pointing left at the main range walk in the opposite way you went). If they had told me in advance I would have come prepared with painkillers😵. Zero consideration for my fitness level. Second time I returned two summers ago to do the summit walk it wasn't so bad. I went via the Thredbo chairlift while my friend dragged himself up the ski hill service road because Dead Horse Gap track was closed lol.

    not too many people at nighttime?

    • @edyhekul
      @edyhekul  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @DanielJi-dm7cx absolutely nobody else around. The closest people set up their camp around 2km away. It's so awesome up there.
