    This is a zoo finding the right adapters! I own 4 that don’t work!

  • @jeffstewart7434
    @jeffstewart7434 2 ปีที่แล้ว +8

    Stop trying to hold attachments while twisting on. You’re actually preventing the installation. You simply twist it on. Hold tool with one hand, twist on attachment with other. Small suggestion: don’t worry about viewer actually seeing you “unbox” it, do it before filming. This way, you look credible doing the video, time is not wasted, and viewers want to come back for more

    • @AntonioClaudioMichael
      @AntonioClaudioMichael  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      And your suggestions have been implemented in newer videos and your point about the attachment one of my attachments is actually not made correctly so it dosent work well ... Also I kinda do need the viewers to see what I'm doing if I'm not In frame of the camera then it's not seen your advice is kinda late Sir

    Nice tool collection you got, hey I bought a ridgid vacuum that includes the car detailing kit ( 1 1/4 orange hose) it fits to the dewalt dwv9000 connector but when I turn on the vacuum it makes an extremely high whistle noise there is no way I can use this set up, I’m thinking to get your same set up using your same vacuum, have you ever notice a strange whistle noise when powering on you Milwaukee vacuum ? I think, you just need to make a deeper groove on a tool body. That plastic part (on a body) has a partnumber and you can take a second one for Airlock modification.

    • @AntonioClaudioMichael
      @AntonioClaudioMichael  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That is Great information there Yeah I ended up cutting the groove with a Round file a little deeper only took 1/32 off and works fine now just to much left over plastic from the mold process @LastTrainWaiting

      I ask, because its a strange story with a Dewalt airlock connectors. In my collection of tools best connection with my dewalt jigsaw and another way is connection with my dewalt multitool dust adapter (shaking and not strong). In both of these ways lock feature works.

  • @HeliRy

    I’m tempted just to take apart the dust bag that comes with the sander and repurpose the collar itself. But then I think that if it were that easy, there’d be videos showing how to do it 🤷‍♂️

    • @HeliRy
      @HeliRy ปีที่แล้ว

      Got bored and did it lol. Just some scissors to snip the bag off and the internal spring falls out on it’s own.
      It’s totally doable to then have a dedicated Dewalt hose for your vacuum. Just need to glue a PCV pipe that’s 1.5” right at the outer lip of the collar. Can’t jam anything in there once the bag is off or the bearings won’t engage to lock it on to the dust port of the sander.

  • @silasgroenning

    I have the same problem with the sander and this attachment. Seems the fitting is somewhat not correct… perhaps its a factory making this sander, that might have some engineering issue their production.. could you tell me what country your sander is made in? Thanks

    • @silasgroenning
      @silasgroenning 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Update… so after talking with the dewalt product manager in my country, i found out what is causing the difficulties with the orbital sander.. basicly the adapter does work, but once you put it on, theres a first postive stop, where one will think that its pushed to the locking position.. well.. its not.. you have to push further (and with a bit of force), then you will be able to lock it easy.. the swirling on the orbital sander is not as smooth as it may be on other units, but this is how the fabrication was made.. i was recommend tring to cautiously grind on the sleeve with some sanding paper, and like that give the balls bearing abit better gliding room… but the main problem with locking the adapter with the unit, is easy solved by pushing the adapter alle the way down, past the first initial stop.. i hope its clarifies✌️

  • @danohstoolbox
    @danohstoolbox 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    the grove might not be cut deep enough in the Sanders

    • @AntonioClaudioMichael

      The m18 fuel packout vac hose as well as the fuel m12 vacuum hose will also work on the old 0880-20 suitcase vac all the Milwaukee vac hoses are interchangeable so you can use the dewalt adapter on all 3 of them if you want

    • @AntonioClaudioMichael
      @AntonioClaudioMichael  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@maslovFedir I agree the dewalt is junk the 0880-20 is a good Vac but it's brushed so it uses more battery power to run so it dont run very long its average is about 35 minutes with a 12ah the M12 Fuel vac is small 1.5 gallon and it runs about 45 minutes to 60 minutes with a 4.0 the M18 Fuel Packout vac is the largest vac Milwaukee has in the portable category it last well over 1.5 hours on a 8ah they also make the new Build your own systems that are 5 gallon and up you can choose if you want a dual battery power head or a single battery power head what size tank but these systems take the larger 2 inch hose diameter so depending on what you need a vac for there are plenty of options... Ryobi makes a 6 gallon that's a good price right now also at 99 bucks
