Listening to this song really helped me when I suffered with depression. I used too just sort of replay the song in my head in the bad times and felt better. Seems silly I know but for me at the time it was a real help. I would love too tell the band one day how much they helped me. I am better now and living life. Thank you Razorlight.

I was the same, I went to see them at victorious festival this summer thinking I know 2 or 3 of their songs and ended up singing three quarters of their set. Brilliant live band too

@@nnniiiaaallllll I met a girl from Cyprus in my city once and although I say I don't have regrets I kinda wish I would've tried my best with her instead of letting her drift away , when I saw your comment I knew what you were saying brother
Having not seen the video I read your comment with scepticism (I've read many a comment where someone has declared someone else a celebrity lookalike even if they look nothing like the celebrity in question), but honestly you're not wrong, the guy does have something of a resemblance to Noel Fielding.
But really, hat the hell happened to this band. They had better songs than anyone else, the band were tighter than tory fiscal policies and the lead singer had the kind of ego that you couldn't beat to death with a stick. Come on the young people of Britain, this has to be better than Sam Smith!!!!!
I was in charge of a funeral for a soldier, who died in Afghanistan in 2009 and this was the song that was played as his coffin left the church, RIP Johno
I remember this time around 2004 and after when these indie garage revival bands like The Killers, The Hives, Franz Ferdinand, Razorlight, Kaiser Chiefs, The Others, Arctic Monkeys, Kings of Leon, Ok Go, etc suddenly getting popular and were all over the music channels becoming a trend. At the same time, post grunge and nu metal era seemed to be virtually over, and I just used to feel so pissed seeing these new indie bands on TV being an hard rock and alternative rock listener. These bands just felt so gay lol I used to think in despair, this is it, the end of rock music. And that's when hip hop music was taking over Vh1 and MTV like anything. I just stopped tuning into music channels. And that was it, by 2007-09 music stopped being awesome but just became more and more synthetic and now it's pure crap!
I just saw them live, amazing performance, my past self can't believe that i managed to see them live after all those years! His voice and their performance in general was amazing!
I saw them last night, loved them.from their first album, great band, Johnny is an incredible lyricist, artist, musician, glad I could finally get to see them. Hope they continue to make more unique music
I loved this band & Johnny singing & at that time i was about 50yrs old & felt pretty odd fancying the pants off skinny white boy Johnny B... Still like Razorlights music even now! Respect & Peace 🇬🇧👧

I love this song, its start sounds a little like Kung Fu Fighting, though far more brief. The only bizarre thing is the crowd cheering. Thankfully it doesn’t take up much time and make me wish I was somewhere else.

@DillyDyson007 absolutely agree
kind of upbeat for a parent dying song lol!
I legitimately hate how underrated Razorlight are.
Agreement here.
Same as the kings of leon
A very underrated, excellent band.
Beautiful vocal range. I love it.

Ha ha ! 🤣
Lmaooo I won't agree with him there but it's a pretty good song!
It's like Lennon and McCartney
"I met a symphony of breezes. They asked me my diseases. I told them my friend, my name ain't Jesus."
Turned it into Bob Dylan lyrics, Took 3 seconds.
That's why Keane based Frog Prince on him. 😉😏
When people say that America or In the Morning was there best song's.
They completely forget about this and golden touch.
I am one of those people. Completely forgot about this classic.

Amazing. One of the biggest indie bands of the mid-noughties, and probably the biggest one to fall and completely disappear.

Wtf ever happened to this band? They were massive at one point, then pffft. Gone
Modern bands that release good tunes are only capable of 1-5 tracks before imploding. Case in point.
Why has my life brought me here in 2019
