So glad you're back. If you want to survive on fish, make a fishing rod (3x sticks, 2x string). Cook on a campfire (3x logs, 3x sticks, 1x coal or charcoal) put it on a block so you don't accidentally step on it, or make a fireplace. It does burn. Campfires don't need extra fuel, so unlimited for cooking food. I usually make 2 side by side so I can cook 8 at a time. Campfires are also useful for raising bees and making honey. (Bees are adorable, but also useful.) Salmon has better value than cod, but both will feed and heal you. When fishing, you can also get pufferfish (good for potions) and random items, sometimes magical.😎
@@joen4287 If you place them under a beehive you can "smoke the bees" allowing you to harvest without angering the beeees I like to add a Hopper under my campfire so any food cooked gets sucked up incase i forget about it.
Two tips, make a shield and a second bed before armoring up. Bed for when you're out and it gets dark; fewer baddies to contend with. Shield to simply survive. Glad to see you back at it!
Hey Isis, good to see you back in Minecraft! The glowing stuff on the walls in dungeons is glow lichen. It gives off light, which you have probably noticed (light level 7, where full daylight is level 15). It can be obtained with shears and can be used for decoration and various technical (redstone) purposes.
Make a boat and look for sunken ships. They are a good source of iron, gold, and diamonds. Also treasure maps for more loot. You can place a door underwater to make an air pocket or dig up into the ceiling or wall of underwater caverns, so carry a door. A door can also block tridents being thrown at you. You can use the door for brushing the sand in underwater ruins, etc., and not have to worry about your air. Don't drown. I do a lot of underwater builds, but it is easy to drown if you lose track of your oxygen. Caverns that are water filled are generally not inhabited by monsters, except Drowned might spawn. Jack-o-Lanterns can be used for underwater light, and torches can be used in the air spaces that you create to make them easier to find and get back to. You can make entire side rooms for rest and storage in the middle of an underwater cavern. Oh, beds will create an air pocket as well, but you can only use them to get through the night. You don't have to occupy yourself with any of these things, but they are tips to use if you find yourself in that situation.

Omg hi! I didn’t expect you to make another series! You’re doing amazing! Some tips- you can set your spawn point on your Bed, after you sleep it resets, so when you die you spawn on your bed! If you break the bed it resets again. So make sure to place it again and set your spawn point! You probably know this but I’ll give more tips as the series goes on!! ❤❤

Hi, noob here. I love Minecraft though I'm not very good lol. What helped me after 50 deaths - when starting, I punched a couple of trees down for instant crafting table, sticks and a pick. I then mined some cobble blocks for a furnace, burn some wood for charcoal (unless you find coal) and you'll be able to get torches. With the dirt blocks, build a little bunker for the first night. I was surprised by how quickly night came too. It took me half a dozen attempts just to get through day 1. On day 2, I punched a couple more trees and made a hoe and got those seeds planted. That's what helped me along. Another things I found was to keep a stack of dirt blocks in your hotbar so you can rapidly block off mobs if you're underground.

Something I have just learned recently, you can combine two similar tools with silk touch to make Silk Touch II. This may be new, but in any case it is new to me. With Silk Touch II you can pick up things that you can't normally pick up, like monster spawners. You can make a super experience area using all of the spawners you find. Good for beefing up for enchantments. I think there is a density around the spawners that make them stop spawning, but if you position your collection area far enough away, but still in sight, they will keep spawning as the monsters move toward you. I will definitely use this to combine blaze spawners into one spawning area.
@@isis_lisette Yeah, I just found out about it this week too. I'm not sure when it was added, since I haven't played for a while. It's almost getting too complicated. Enchanting maxes out at 15 bookshelves, and highest level enchants will peel 3 levels off of level 30. So, you use the experience farms to get to level 30 to do your enchantments. The other way to enchant is by combining enchanted items on an anvil. This usually takes off more levels than the enchantment table, but it isn't random and you don't have to be level 30. Enchantment books can be purchased from Librarian villagers for emeralds + a book. You can reset the spell that they know by picking up and re-placing their lectern. Once you purchase anything from them or sell anything to them, it will lock in that spell, so you can make an array of Librarians with all of the spells that you like to have on your gear. If you rescue them from being a zombie, then they will sell everything for only 1 emerald. This works for all of the different villager types. That makes replacing basic gear really cheap if you happen to die and lose everything. You can get gear up to diamond level from the villagers. Of course it won't replace things like Elytra or Netherite gear, but hey, getting back into enchanted diamond gear for a handful of emeralds isn't bad.
I tend to make my base at a village, because I really do exploit (in a nice way) the villagers. I basically turn a village into a fortified city. I loaded the same seed (Patrick) and did some scouting around, if you want a spoiler or two.
@@isis_lisette I'll just say head east for about 1200 blocks. On the other side of the Taiga is a Plain. Once you get there you will know where to go. So many useful things in the area. Don't forget to take a travel bed.
Liz, you are going to have to bite the bullet….. you have to eat meat. Also don’t go deep into caves without armor. You also make a bed preferably on the first day. That’s why the game gives you sheep and stuff as soon as you spawn in. You’re making it harder than it needs to be

There are golden carrots but they are expensive to make. It’s survival game… you must kill to survive. Are you going to sing songs to the enderdragon? I don’t think so lol
@@isis_lisette True, but my main source of golden carrots is leveling up farmers. They will sell you the golden carrots for a few emeralds, and since they give you the emeralds for your crops, it is basically free. Also when you are in the nether, you will absolutely need to kill the hoglins. If you have flame on your weapon then they will already be cooked for you. I suspect you will be adding bacon to your diet.😘
Another thing that people often do in survival is simply sleep through the night, so you don't get random monsters attacking you while you build. Also, if you don't sleep for 3 days straight, then phantoms start to spawn. Sleep as soon as the sun goes down, and you can explore the surface with little danger. Take a bed with you when you travel. F3 and write down the coordinates for your home base. It will be useful if you get lost, to find your way back, or to connect with other locations.
Oh I have seen them before, terrifying no no no. I like to be safe in bed thanks. I really should remember the coordinates, another thing I always forget about haha

There’s no good reason, other than a different style of content, to play hardcore. Survival gives you a lot to do and play but if you screw up and die it doesn’t have to end. Just play it normal NO HARDCORE!

Peaceful mining: Make doors,three should do, and mine underwater using the doors to make a air bubble. Almost no baddies and more ores as they aren't don't count as 'exposed to air' by the game. Try it out!
How is eating a fish better than a pig? People only have feelings for the cute animals, lol. Everyone wants to save the dolphins but no one cries over the tuna.
Any fish that's large enough to bother with, has got that way by killing and eating tons of other fish. So you are only doing to them, what they have done countless times to other fish.

You can get string by using your sword on the spider webs (also get rid of the spider webs) without having to fight the spiders.

not sure how you will get an enchanting table with the library books needed for max enchanting without killing a lot of cows? You need a lot of leather for books..

Peaceful mining: Make doors,three should do, and mine underwater using the doors to make a air bubble. Almost no baddies and more ores as they aren't don't count as 'exposed to air' by the game.

I cry over tuna! I have been vegetarian my entire life actually! Fish don't make any sad sounds and die quick that's why I was eating them :(

Any fish that's large enough to bother with, has got that way by killing and eating tons of other fish. So you are only doing to them, what they have done countless times to other fish.

@@isis_lisette Eventually, you can get farmer villagers leveled up to the point where you can buy golden carrots, which are arguably the best food in the game.
