This game was honestly one of my favorite modern sonic games. The music is excellent, the story isn’t half bad, and the visuals look pretty great!
The story sorta reminds me of what’s going on in Epic Mickey 2

I objectively loved every stage in this game. They were all so memorable.
It’s the bosses that seem forgotten, an exception can be made for Nega Wisp Armor though.

Tbh I think I think forces did the boss better. Even if people found the game underwhelming.
Aesthetically and musically speaking, those levels were definitely amazing. And bonus points for being the last game with a full new set of worlds. However, design-wise, I only like about 2 levels per world frankly. The rest are either too short (such as Tropical Resort Act 4) or just plain boring (basically any level with the yellow springboards).
Starlight Carnival/Asteroid Coaster's boss is still one of my favorite of any game

In the Wii version that’s the most difficult boss to S-Rank

I love Sonic Colors so much! If there’s anything that this game did right, it’s the boss fights! Yes, literally, the bosses are fun to fight! No matter if people judge Sonic for the games being okay nowadays, Sonic Colors will always be my favorite Sonic game of all time!
The first and third is way too fragile
But the second and fourth are pretty decent
And the 3rd and 6th are really fun to fight along with the final boss

This was actually a really good sonic game I thought and the best out of all the 3D games despite the fact that I never really got into the sonic series. The combat was so fun and different I thought.

A neat little mechanic that the ds version used in the starlight carnival boss is that you could use the rocket wisp and do massive damage by hitting it from below
again I played this game a long time ago but its great to see it again!
Man, these boss battles look so much different to the DS version (and I honestly prefer the DS version bosses to these, they're more challenging with more interesting fighting tactics).
Too bad no one ever got to hear the themes for more than 4 seconds..... all that hard work wasted.

Some of the mini bosses were actually quite hard and deserve to be on this list. Those were the two big purple shrimp robots that chase you, and the dark energy sphere in Asteroid Coaster. Especially the Terminal Velocity shrimp robot was really hard! Also, it is more fun and faster to beat the bosses with the wisps, especially when you can use Drill to slam into the two ship captains. One of the best uppercuts ever and it feels so good!
