My all time favourite Jimmy scam. It was so complex, such as the hundreds of letters he got random bus riders to write in support of Huell.
With different coloured papers and color pens and handwriting.
Kim came up with that idea.

The prosecutor is so frustrated by that because it means that the media will turn a small case where Huell is clearly in the wrong into a media circus with the sight of a bunch of buses arriving

i love Jimmy's college minions. they started out actually doing what they thought was normal college film club stuff, and have slowly graduated up to committing perjury right to the District Attorney's face! and seemingly all on the 100 bucks a day that Jimmy paid them in the first place
As far as experience on a resume goes, don't get better than that.
I mean it genuinely seems like it would at least be fun on their end, and they’ve probably gotten raises by this point. Jimmy treats his people right in those regards I would imagine. He doesn’t seem like a cheapskate.

@@bkr1895 he argues with one of them about raising the fee from 100 to 500 in the latest episode so no, they probably still get paid the same amount they just have more opportunities to make that money as he uses them more often. For the amount of work they're doing 100 dollars is very fair, and to be honest they probably jump at the chance whenever he calls them up asking for something
Experience is experience. Those college kids are doing what they want to be doing and getting paid for it… just with some questionable methods on Jimmy's end.

Well I know Saul is going to die. I am assuming Kim will be killed also. They have to put her arc in & it has to be "The proverbial perfect reason" why she never made it in Breaking Bad.
They are perfect for each other & would never break up. So they can't just say "We didn't know there would be a Project after Breaking Bad"

There's a very sad subtext to this otherwise hilarious scene, as Jimmy fabricates a story of Huell rescuing people from a burning church. Later on in the season he makes a throwaway comment to Kim that he could save a judge from her burning chambers.
He may not even realise it, but subconsciously I think he's fantasizing about saving Chuck from the fire.

Jimmy’s charisma is a highlight of the series. I love his cons.
Just watched the episode of Saul & Kim getting married. Huell honesrly crushes everything he’s in. His little “that’s the only reason you’re getting married? You’re not going to bring her anywhere” like his voice being sad/depressed while also confirming who Saul really is, was legit upsetting.
Huell is the best!
Also the scene where Huell asks Saul why he does all that shady stuff when he has money, a wife and a good job.

if i had to tier list all of the characters in this show I would throw the Film students into S tier. Their whole involvement in sauls Bs throughout the series is just funny. They just want some quick money, classic college students.
I hope they don't get hurt in season 6.

As someone whose whole family is from Louisiana the way he nailed everything except for the pronunciation of “Lake Ponchartrain”, which (like many Louisianian words) is pronounced differently than you’d think, it kind of brought the con more to life for me.

She exhibits the toxic work environment that HHM conducts. They don’t see people, they only see reputation and labels and use it against each other. Much like in episode 10 with the scholarships, Christi to them would always be looked at as a shoplifter, like Huel being seen as a pick pocket.
What? I think she was an effective prosecutor who was trying to do her job well. She just got mislead by an elaborate and well-executed trick.
@@tipdub she wanted Huel to do 2 years! That alone should tell you that she didn’t fuck about the context she just wanted to put him away so her reputation looks good like any lawyer would do. Winning or losing a case can make or break your whole career.
Obviously he hit that cop thinking he was some mugger, but because he was caught as a pick pocket they managed to slap assault on there. HHM would’ve done the same thing as well as other law firms, make one mistake they’ll hold it against you your entire life.
Best example Kim wexler. She had everything and because the kettlemans fired her unreasonably, HHM through her in doc review and took away her office. It’s a serious toxic work environment and this prosecutor is a great example of why Jimmy and Kim left all that.

One of the best bits in the whole series. Everything here is brilliant - photos of Huell on the website, phones on the table, organ in the background, accent with which he presses those fairytales, student unable to stand the laughter. Insert with Clarence and the robes (that's for communion!). And as a cherry on top the hired buses that eventually broke her. I've watched this a dozen times now and still can't stand the laughter.

I always say that BB and BCS are two of the best tv shows ever created. The acting, the writing, the depth and nuance that each of the actors shows to their respective character is unparalleled. When watching a TV show a person is typically well aware that they are watching a make-believe but here Bob Odenkirk and for that matter everyone involved truly make you present into another world. I have watched plenty of TV but this here is truly a masterclass of what most should aspire to, the details, the acting, the cinematography, the sound all blends so well..
Jimmy is the coolest character in any form of media so far in the history of Earth.

3:29 Sherry looks confused here because Jimmy mentioned the robes are for communion, something Baptists don't believe in. Jimmy, raised Catholic (inferred from his Irish heritage), likely wouldn't know other denominations don't believe in it.
Baptists 100% believe in communion lol. Communion is one of the pillars of Christianity as a whole, not just Catholicism. You could find that out with a 10 second google search.

That part when Jimmy starts to make a speech describing Huell and one of the students points to the whiteboard at the phrase "a friend in Jesus" and Jimmy refuses to say that with a gesture, because he is a pastor but that would be to obvious to say. Man, that was hilarious to me. That level of details is simply majestic.
