Yes and no, that's a backronym that came out and had stuck since the song, the term chav has been around for years before.
@@bimwho councin housed and violent was always what chav stood for, in this context. Before that, the older generations called young kids chavvies, but that was different, that was just their slang for kids lol.

A lot of that footage was the hackney riots which they took the piss out of with people carrying TVs and stuff, Riz Ahmed is in the video which is crazy cool, BAFTA nominated actor.

The beat for this is lifted directly from Alles Neu by the German artist Peter Fox. It's very different and well worth a listen in its own right. Plan B is amazing though. Defamation... is one of the greatest albums of this century.

Not the Brixton riots. These riots happened all over London and started in Tottenham, other side of London to Brixton. Brixton riots was a couple decades ago, but yeah, a lot of this is real footage
