Guys, thank you so much for all the work you do on this channel! There are so many games that come out daily (!) and the mainstream media tend to focus on the few most "important"/expensive/hyped ones, which makes it nearly impossible to get a good preview/review of a game you might be potentially interested in.
I have already made my mind on purchasing two games thanks to your reviews (and decided not to buy another one also after the review), this is so much better that relying on just trailers/screenshots/steam comments (which may not even exist for some smaller game at the time of its release).

@@enescustovic1883 Blame the community, they're the ones reviewing literal asset flips as "Best game ever" as a joke and tagging them with irrelevant tags, completely undermining the point of those systems.
I can't understand why reviewers insist on calling it a souls-like. It only has like the monoliths to respawn and that's it. You loose nothing when you die, you don't get experience from enemies, and rolling doen'st even make you invulnerable.

Well, I'm having a blast with this game.. I dunno, for me is like a Sci-Fi adventure that its really enjoyable... Metroid prime vibes... Good Game.

So it looks like a mash of mass effect and the lost planet games. (Lost planet in the sense that it's an icy planet, there's gameplay elements where you need to keep warm and an alien species where you target there weak spots (which are the large orange spots ofcourse, same in both games). Mass effect in the same camera / similar gunplay etc. (Or you could compare the camera / gameplay and movement to a budget returna)
Did anyone actually think this would be a Souls-like? Looks way more like Returnal

Dangit, man. I was concerned that this game would be a miss. What a shame.
Not dissing this YT channel but you should also listen to some of the other reviews of this title. What this reviewer didn't like, some other reviewers did like about the title. Each review is an opinion so make sure to align what's called out based on how you like to play, and also get more than one opinion.
Appreciate the input! I always make sure to get an aggregate for games I am interested in. I'm less concerned with the opinions of reviewers and more interested in the systems, gameplay, U/X, etc., all things that I can get a solid grasp on based on the context of their reviews and the footage shown.
@@MahjikM3 well put mate, I just ordered it on disk for £22, Elex 2 for £12, I like AA games that try, this dev team could do great things in the future.
Some of those animations reallllly hurt to look at, especially the melee/sword swipe and the running 😰 Too bad, since I liked Returnal I thought this one might be cool. At least I save money and I can play something else from my backlog!

Strongly disagree with this review…though I do generally agree with other reviews here. This game is fun, and has interesting ideas. It could use more polish sure, but the same could be said of big budget titles too

I mean, the game works and the writing is fine. I also think the elemental system is really cool.
I just ordered it on disk for £22 new along with Elex 2 for £12, my friend said its definitely not an AAA level game but these days that's a good thing, most AAA games these days are either sequels or half baked messes like the abysmal Forspoken, thankfully I only borrowed my friends copy of Forspoken and I deleted it 20 mins in, I'd take this game over that all day every day.

Wow… I vehemently disagree with this review. Take it being 40 bucks out of the picture. With haptic feedback, the shooting feels great. Outside of some stiff animations here and there, it’s near Triple A quality. The game is crazy linear. From the spawn points, your presented with no more than 3 paths to go, with one looping you back. I don’t know how he constantly got lost. Asking for an easier than easy mode showed your hand. Don’t punish a game for being difficult.. slightly difficult. I like this way more than Returnal. It actually has a story. Not, a little morsel here, a little morsel there, vague story telling. How reviewers just ignore the flaws of one game, just to nitpick the hell out of another baffles me. I know it’s an opinion. But sone things said on this review were factually untrue.

Unremarkable, with grammar errors in the endgame dialogue (cringe stuff like "payed" and "ressurection"). And about 2 hours long without the fat. Nope.

@@NoisyPixelNews and another thing I find out this game don't work on steam deck as well i guess this one those game you wait to go on sale or have nothing to play.
Was interested but since they released a patch that made the achievements unotainable I will pass. It shows how lazy programmers are when they release a patch that breaks the game.
I knew this game was lacklustered because I wasn't crazy about this game.
What? So enemies doesn't drop anything but ammo? What the point of having enemies. Game look too generic
This game has never looked "AA" to me. It's always looked "capital-I indie".
