Yes there will just be a gap at the bottom

I have a 02 sierra SLE would a hd hood fit well I know I have to cut it but what year of the hd hood should I get and what if one side of the hood has a bigger gap how could I fix it

You need a bubble eye hd hood 99-03 not the cat eye hood. I recommend finding a used oem hood to avoid any big gaps. The aftermarket new cheap ones fit terrible

I have a gmc Sierra 2000 project , I have everything except the hood . I'm about to send it off to get a paint job . Where can I order an HD hood so I can do this? I'll cut it myself and have my painter add Bondo where I cut it .can I order an after marker one online? Do you think it will fit

Aftermarket hoods for these years fit terrible. I could stick my hand in one of the gaps. Your best bet is finding a old used hood

Yes. Weld it together where it was cut otherwise water will get it. Bondo and sand prime and paint

Your best bet is a junk yard or market place. Aftermarket ones don't fit at all, If you go to my past videos I do HD Swap on a gmc Yukon. I go more into detail with that one
