I stepped into this exhibition during a school trip in France, I couldn't handle it... All the lights and animations were stunning but the thing that most amazed me was the music. The song at the end reminds me to some tough times I passed through.
I was thankfully able to see this on a trip to Paris two years ago. Absolutely devine. Most visitors were there for the Van Goth experience but this was breathtaking. I have never been more relaxed in my life. I recorded a short clip of the lanterns for the music and i play it every time I need to relax. I wish I knew who composed the music so i could have it on my phone.
Also- Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence by Sakamoto. Other songs featured that I recall- Nina Simone’s Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood. Moses Summay- Doomed as well!
@Huyền Trinh it's the instrumental version of "merry christmas, mr lawrence" th-cam.com/video/LGs_vGt0MY8/w-d-xo.html it was the theme song from a movie of the same name, which starred sakamoto as well, and the lyrics are lovely also (sung by david sylvian)

Check the other comments for details about the music. I'm glad you enjoyed it as much as I did.
Ryuichi Sakamoto- Forbidden Colours played with the lanterns. I also went there 2 years ago in the February I believe

The Great Wave was really impressive!
That is also due to wonderful music of 'La Mer' by Claude Debussy! 🌊

Amazing! Awesome!! Is there any wonder why Paris is called the "City of Lights"?
WOW, Walt Disney should include this in all their rides.
Never thought of that. They should. 😁
Superbe !!

At 9 min, what is the song that comes on with the deep cello? I think it’s different form merry Christmas mr. Lawrence that someone else wrote?
