How has it been two weeks since my last vlog?! I am so sorry! My goodness me, life is rather busy what the moment. Extremely long days and an obscene amount of work but, I wouldn't have it any other way!
Here is a sneak peek into our Royal Coronation weekend, filled with Great British traditions, a glittering spectacle, happiness and a feast fit for a king!

I love that you are patriotic and make the most of historic events and celebrate them thoroughly! We don’t always have to agree with every decision our leaders make. The pride we hold in our country, our freedoms and our citizens is forever strong and trumps any political issue!

As I’m here in the States, I watched every bit of info on the Coronation possible! Leonora, thank you for sharing this with us (your audience)!
Leonora thank you so much for putting on such a wonderful vlog about the Coronation and the effort you go through to make the food is outstanding. Unfortunately for my daughters I just made a quiche and a victoria sponge which are not up to your standard. My daughter made sandwiches and scones and just the 3 of us but we watched as we ate and so good to share such an amazing day. My friends are Royalists too but some are not and that did upset me on the day. It did make me proud to be British and thank you for supporting the King and country and I like you feel it is a serious thing and loyalty and support are needed. You looked lovely in your red dress and I wore red, white and blue too and did my window box accordingly and had flags and bunting too and had a red,white and blue bunch of flowers in a spray on my front door.
Geez, you really got to invite us sometime.

We awoke here in Lexington KY at 4:30 to walk my little sausage dog, Max and get the BBC on to watch the Coronation. I was thrilled. I loved the e feeling of national pride. We had a loved champagne breakfast. Our lunch was coronation Chicken Salad. Then we moved on to Derby Day festivities in Central Kentucky. With Benedictine sandwiches, country ham biscuits and the most exceptional Mint Juleps. We loved being Kentuckians and we loved watching the Derby. It was a great day. The Coronation was beautiful. American here (however half the family are Brits) and we entertained friends & family all day wiith an elegant day, all day Saturday, and Sunday for the concert. It was so memorable, lovely and wonderful to see everyone celebrate together and way too much champers! :)
