I think Vortex is the most overhated coaster ever. It was perfectly smooth when I rode and the loop was really solid. I’m always shocked when people call it the worst coaster in the park.

I also got to go for the first time a week ago! Fury is definitely my new number 2. Such a great park! I also had the exact same expectation and then reaction to vortex as you haha

Hurler is honestly not as bad as most people think it will be. Also, huge question for me. Which coaster is the no. 5 in the park? Cyclone, Vortex, Flying Cobras or Hurler? Or even other maybe?
I’d agree with your Hurler take. Nighthawk was easily my 5th favorite, a super fun flying coaster
@@CoasterDash it really isn’t a bad ride, is it a good one, I wouldn’t say so but it deserves so much more love then it gets! Also, I don’t know how the weather is but when you get a bad dispatch and have to sit on your back on the brake run in 90 degree weather for 5 minutes, then it gets a bit irritating, lol
I was just there and it’s amazing! Nice vlog and I agree about the night hawk take I actually really like it idk why people hate on it. Also it’s called kiddy hawk because that’s the name of the city where the wright brothers took their first flight

I know you've ridden both the front and the back of Fury 325, but I don't know what rows you prefer for that ride either.Maybe you ought to have done that after marathoning Fury for the rest of your day there.
I'd think that the cons of Intimidator are that it's kinda a wasted layout with only one (thankfully untrimmed) camelback after the drop before a (turnaround, followed by a trimmed camelback, then another turnaround,) repeat. While I love the staggered seating, it's the worst of the four staggered seating B&M hypers, whereas the other three (Behemoth, Diamondback and Shambala) are inspired works of art. More directly to the point: Intimidator doesn't improve on Behemoth, but Fury 325 improves on Leviathan. I'd love to see a Cedar Fair park with a mirror Fury 325, and a mirror Diamondback. The reason Cedar fair doesn't do that is because of money they make for many well researched reasons, for example 1: GP doesn't care and 2: Enthusiasts must then visit every Cedar Fair Park. (It's genius marketing that appeals to both sheeples, as well as people who hate being sheeples alike. I LOVE CEDAR FAIR!)
Intimidator does have a long ride duration, albeit not as long as Nitro, (Airtime Thrills accidentally measured Nitro's prime ride time to be 10 seconds shorter than it actually is, but Nitro has the longest duration of ALL 17 B&M hypers). Having said that: I never thought to compare Intimidator to Candymonium; but at least Intimidator actually has a drop over 200' with a long staggered seating train with a long duration. Canymonioum has an elite drop with max. vertical angel of 77.3 degrees which is extreme for a coaster with a drop under 200', but that doesn't make it better than Nitro or Intimidator.
So now that you put me up to my misery: I'd guess I'd think that Intimidator is better than Candymonium, but not as good as Nitro. Then again, I've never ridden any B&M hyper, so what would I know? I could be wrong. I hope to find out how I'd rate these coasters from personal experience. Thanks for posting this great video!
Is it worth it going there G? Im finna go to CaroWinds but dolars cost 5x more for me so every cent counts lol and also its an international trip so the planning is much different
i’d say yes. just plan more than one day or a monday or tuesday
As someone who has Six Flags America as their home park. I would say Batwing might be one of the most underrated rides better. After visiting the park a lot this summer I actually moved it up into the rankings over Ride or Steel because I just enjoy Batwing more. Unlike Nighthawk there aren't any rough moments where you have to brace. It's more forceful throughout the ride then the Ultimate Flight clones (Throughout the ride. Nothing beats the Pretzel Loop obvs). Also Lap Roar in the back row. You won't be able to walk the next day.

Didn’t think I’d hear someone say Nighthawk is good or that Kings Dominion is better, but that goes to show everyone experiences things differently.
What do you guys think is better, Kings Dominion or Carowinds? I'm planning for next year but only have the budget for one of the two. So which is better?
Personally, I prefer Kings Dominion for their amazing 1-2 punch. but missing out on Fury 325 is heart wrenching.

I can't decide if I want to include this on the same future trip I am planning to the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburh area of Tennessee. It's a lot of driving between the two but I am willing to do it. Not sure about my parents though.

I LOVE Batwing. I've ridden 2 b&m flyers and the 2 currently standing vekoma flyers and my ranking of them would be from best to worst:
Superman (SFOG), Batwing, Superman (SFGAdv), Nighthawk.
Personally, I thought Batwing was butter smooth and very forceful.

@@CoasterDash The nice thing I liked about it compared to Nighthawk was that the inversions were a lot smoother going through and that they had handles on the restraints that helped for bracing during rougher moments.
What ride should I hit I may be going in June or July
Fury, Copperhead, Intimidator, Afterburn are all musts
They should tear down vortex and bring Volcano to the park

I rode Vortex a few days before he came to the park, and it was not glossy smooth, but it was smooth enough to say it wasn’t rough.

Ive ridden most of the B&M hypers and Intimidator is definitely one of the better ones. Also Nighthawk is a piece of shit headache machine and needs to be demolished
