Hello. I have been trying for years to get Rainbow emperor tetra's and I saw them on your channel. I want to make a 125 gallon tank with them and german blue rams. Can you please tell me where I can get them? Everywhere online I have googled is sold out and all my local pet stores have never even heard of this variety. Thanks so much!
Can i mix in peat with my substrate or just alone on the bottom for wilds instead of leaves? Please help not many websites on using peat to lower ph or how to use it.
After you boil the peat to sanitize and saturate it mix it with more sand then peat to keep it from just blowing it around. The. You could cover it with the leaves and wood. I used the new Frirz bacteria starter to inoculate the substrate. But the sand was established before the the peat as well. So the fritz product was just to supercharge the process.
Hey i was wondering if bettas from the coccina complex could adapt to hard water since soft water fish can adapt to hard water than hard water to soft is that the case?
If they are captive bred it is easier to adjust them up. But they may not bred successfully. They are naturally soft water fish. Soft water effects egg development a lot. Wild caught fish will not do as well as captives. Especially these peat swamp bettas from the coccina complex.
Sorry! I don’t anymore. I really had a difficult time with shipping and having fish lost in transit. I put work in these fish only to have them end late and dead. I would sell locally in Nj or Pa but not to ship.

How do you make the paludariums? Is there a shelf where you put the driftwood above water or do you just stack them so they come above the water?
