I am 5 years late to the party, but wanted to express my profound appreciation for your work here. Your voice acting is masterful. Full of kindness, compassion and resonance. I couldn't imagine Nisargadatta speaking any other way at this point, having listened to this and all the other chapters obsessively over and over again. Thank you for putting this on line and bringing the Master to life.
Am speechless. (I) have the feeling that Maharaj is Himself speaking through you and lightening the avenues of the mind, revealing the Truth, Reality which I so ardently wanted to know. Thanks a million. 🙏🙏🙏
Thank you so much. I listen to this everday and discover something new evertime. There is some humor in it too. Like when a seeker asks him: If you could tell me what I will become I might have the courage. Maharaja says : How can I tell you what you will become when there is no becoming!
Thank you for taking time out and reading this beautiful message, it's easy to distinguish between the questioner and Maharaj. it's as if Maharaj is himself speaking thru you, many thanks and blessings.
By reading any work, it is YOU and thus to listen (Sound is Creation) is to be in the unreality. Read the book and dissolve what is known. Listen and dissolve what is said. Reality is unknown. You are not tracy Quodras, that is unreality of a body, having an identity and knowing words of identity (Mind control) Stop imagining a world and Know the Self which is UNKNOWN eternally. Know and then dissolve all known.
Thanks you for you feedback Michael. It has certainly helped me in giving these words of Maharaj life and I am grateful for the benefit to others since that is ultimately the intention. The mystery in me honors the mystery in all what great mystery.
best use of the word "shattering" ever! my compliments. I always say it is like an atomic bomb which sounds violent but i mean in the sense of actually SPLITTING every atom:).
i really love this specific voice over. havent heard anyone else convey these words in such a deep manner. your voice truly reaches the depths of my beings. over voiceoevers are good as its the words themselves that carry such tranquillity but its truly your voice that makes the delivery so final and great.
Sir, This audio recording has helped me tremendously during my translation of I AM THAT into Telugu (one of the South Indian languages).. I could reconfirm / proofread my translation while listening to your audio.. Thanks a million..
i was checking your channel today in hope the new chapters appear, and they appered:D, i listen to them all like 3 times each, they run in the background and i m doing my stuff here
The mind cannot know what is beyond the mind (reality), but what is beyond the mind can know the mind. However, what is this knowing by the non-mind? Mind cannot know it, so how would it differ from unconsciousness, say of deep sleep, i.e., would we ever know we have it, or see it, or know it? He implies yes (c 42"). He reaches the same conclusion as Socrates, that the only thing we can know is that we do not know anything (c 1:45).
Hi, this is a great gift, to be able to listen to this dialogue. Notice that Plato also used the dialogue format for his discourses. However, I need assistance with something. I would like to include parts of this Talk on a CD I am planning to make for someone who would not ordinarily listen to a long dialogue on this topic. Is there a way to edit this Talk? I would like to intersperse it with music back and forth, to help open his mind to these deep reflections. I can't use the whole of it though, just select portions; I am totally ignorant of how to edit audio files, but maybe someone out there can point me in the right direction. Thanks.
There is a benefit of witnessing (turiya)that he didn't articulate very well. The benefit of seeing your self as an object out side of your self like everyone else you don't take your stuff, fears etc so seriously any more.It also helps one see other as one self where you would be more empathic, caring.
This is great, thanks. In a paragraph, are you able to distinguish Nisargadatta's philosophy from Ramana's? Did Ramana also believe that 'I am' is not the absolute, as Nisargadatta suggests? Thanks Namaste 🙏💟
their message is the same. don't get caught up in semantics. do practice self-inquiry and self-awareness instead. read only as much theory as is needed to get started or u will get lost in the maze of your mind.
its hard sometimes to know when the question is put and when Nissargadatta answers. it would be good to read out loud: "question", and "answer" before their respective sentences.
These would be really great - except that you forgot to distinguish between the Questions by the students, and the Answers by Nisargadatta. I can think of a few chapters, where the student expounds his own (false) viewpoint, and without distinguishing between the two, the listeners are going to be unable to distinguish, and may take some of the students viewpoints as being Nisargadatta's.
“One” is duality....god is not one. One can be divided. absolute cannot divide. God is a concept the self is a concept. The I am god duality is that last great fear surrendering to what’s prior to the “I am”...
Just goes to show the unreality of all perception. I listen to him for hours with no difficulty distinguishing the speakers. So grateful for people who actually contribute instead of just making comments.
