Thank you for helping to promote his movie! I’ve loved Clint Eastwood my whole life. He’s such a special guy. My mom got to meet him once at his bar in Carmel. She said he was so kind and the photo of them is so cute. And makes total sense regarding politics. But I think the last election proves that over half of America agrees with him for the most part politically, and only a small portion that don’t wouldn’t see movie because of that. I swear they are starting to cut off their noses to spite their faces down in Hollywood! PS. Love when Magnus makes an appearance!
Kjersti thank you for letting the people know about Eastwoods movie. My husband & I are starving for quality cinema these days. We’re going to check it out & support this cast & Eastwood.
My ex was a personal trainer and all of a sudden, one day, Clint Eastwood worked out at his gym in Baltimore… he said he was totally in shape and sinewy, even at his old age… he was incredibly sweet to everyone 😊
Your post on Clint Eastwood was awesome. You presented so much respect, honor and integrity towards him. He’s a living legend and as such should be treated that way regardless of his views. Thank you for sharing and for your journalistic integrity 🙏
Clint will rise above the current controversy, and continue to make quality films. Simply because he marches to the beat of his own drum. A very rare individual. I work in the film industry, and believe me, Hollywood could take a lesson. "To thine own self be true." ~ Shakespeare

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a journalist come forward and speak about these things so bravely and unapologetically. You are such a breath of fresh air. Stay safe xx

Hollywood is a facade, it always was and it should no longer surprise anyone. What maintains an enormous level of irony (and hypocrisy) is that a country who always championed freedom of expression (the famous first amendment), has such a degree of "sensitivity" about such mundane things. One thing is not wanting to undermine the business (after all, they are trying to sell a film), but it is another thing to censor an opinion as legitimate as the one Clint can have; a true artist with the greatest competence for such assessments. When someone has stayed in the craft as long as Clint has, one should stop and listen. And is also a shame the kind of censorship that extends to journalists who care to ask intelligent and challenging questions. As I said, a great facade and tremendous hypocrisy. Keep up the good work, Kjersti.
They´ve been spitting on his movies for quite a while now. I loved Gran Torino, a fantastic movie. To your point, I hadn' t heard of either those two movies of his that you mentioned. Im watching both now. Tak Kjersti og Magnus!
People will work with Roman Polanski, Woody Allen, Jack Nicholson, but have a problem with Clint Eastwood who has views that most 90 something year old men share. Heck I cut my dad slack on his views and he is only in his early 60’s. That seems to be the big issue with Hollywood is the double standards.
Clint Eastwood's views are shared by the world and all ages. As you get older and rewatch his films, you'll begin to see that the messages in them transcend time because they are timeless. Many people don't want to recognize their own ignorance and ugliness but he'll show it to you and make you think for just a second what it really looks like and how it's not often what you thought at all. He challenges people to wake up. His films are just as much for the future.
Woody Allen has never been a on-set problem, or audition process. Nothing has ever come up. Still. That's why he was always working. Just the old acquitted domestic stuff. If the "moral police" applied everyone equally in the wrong, past & present you get a black screen.

My dad made me watch Clint's spaghetti western movies. I have come to love and respect this man's work and his art. Whenever I see him, I always think about my dad. Love Clint Eastwood. He seems to be honest and genuine. Thank you for this video!! May I ask--have you ever interviewed Charlize Theron? I would be interested to learn if my opinion of her is warranted or if I am totally off base. Thank you!
I tried to find your email address, but I didn't have any luck. I wanted to say, send me the whole clip of Clint Eastwood and my friends and I will post it on our channels. That interview needs to be out there, absolutely ridiculous
Cant have an opinion or express yourself thesedays. World gone mad! Clint is old school, those times when there were real issues to deal with and as he said, people ddnt go inward to look for drama
As I understand (from Argentina), Juror Nº2 was supposed to be a streaming project and Warner decided to release it in theaters, although it was limited, as a gesture towards Eastwood. According to whoever tells it, some say that this theatrical distribution is more of what was expected for the film and not the other way around. I don't know who can confirm this information, but both narratives have arrived.
@@discutio In Italy, I've heard that's a streaming project, exceptionally released in theatres for just a couple of days, too - and I was about to lose it myself.
Clint Eastwood is a legend actor and director and it's terrible how Hollywood is treating him. REELZ "Clint Eastwood Hollywood Outlaw" was excellent. Watch it if you can. 15:17 to Paris was a great movie! Kjerstia and Magnus, loved your summary at the end. Very well said.
WB similarly sabotaged the distribution of Kiss Kiss Bang Bang in 2005-effectively killing Val Kilmer’s career. Val had taken the creative liberty of making his character gay.
I agree with Clint on letting people speak honestly, it is wretchedly boring to hear everyone parroting the same party lines, and it's dishonest and we will never get anywhere as a society like that. Parroting hamsters on a wheel 😢 great video Kjersti we always enjoy a Magnus appearance!
Also, my son woke up crying so I couldn't finish my thought.... but you can just tell, Clint doesn't have that predator energy. He cares about his craft, he has noble goals. Can't say that about someone like Weinstein who was fawned over by Hollywood for years. Clint seems like a genuine guy.
Thanks for highlighting this ridiculous control over our viewing choices.....love Clint and his work....he is well entitled to discuss his opinion (he's worked in the idustry long enough) without fear of reactionary cancellation, great job/video Kjersti 👏 👍
Clint is loved by the Carmel community where he lives. Everyone speaks highly of him, and he has done so much for the community. He's very opinionated, and it's a case of either loving or hating him-but he doesn’t care. Regarding the movie, I checked my local theater, and unfortunately, it’s not being featured. I honestly would have gone just to support him, though I’m sure the movie is great too. I’m very upset, you don’t treat Mr. Eastwood like that.
I'm 56, and my late Grandfather introduced me to Clint's movies when I was 14 years old. We would watch his movies together, some of the same titles over and over again. Dirty Harry, Magnum Force, Pale Rider, The Good, The Bad and The Ugly, Every which way but loose. We bonded over those movies, and I've been a life-long fan forever since. Clint has the same values that a lot of us have regarding the Liberal fools we have to clench our teeth for, as we reluctantly tolerate them... Clint is the only Hollywood actor I have ever idolised, and I'll be heartbroken when we lose him.
Definitely political which is so sad because he is legendary. Such an amazing talent who is obviously very humble and honest. Thank you for sharing Kjersti and it’s good to see Magnus🤍
Hard to imagine a bigger legend, giant, still working today than Clint. It's absolutely sickening the way Warner Bros is treating him. Their new CEO David Zaslav is the worst kind of movie person for a creative industry, a person with zero interest and knowledge about cinema who look upon the whole culture as "content", only driven by greed. But what they're doing against Clint is not about greed, the reviews are amazing, this is all about being a vile a**hole towards their biggest legend. David Zaslav represents all that is wrong with America, he is basically doing to Warner what Elon Musk wants to do to the whole country.
Warner people have actually come out in the last few years to say such things as they don’t care what the public wants or thinks about what they’re doing. Now, many don’t care what Warner is doing. Censorship is rampant these days, but the snake will eventually bite off its own head. I don’t agree with Clint politically on many things, but I was crushing on Rowdy Yates as a small child. My husband (RIP) worshipped him. Mr. Eastwood is a talented actor, director, composer, and artist. I will find and watch these movies. 💕
Warner hasn't had the best of years, and they might budget accordingly, like maybe they expected Joker to pay for the budget to market this, and that didn't come through. When you know how erratic executive decisions are its kind of nuts. It also sounds like a critics darling film, which can sound alarms, what if critics are the only people going because its not Marvel?
To be honest, he was rambling a bit, I don’t think he got his point(s) across properly. Perhaps he didn’t have the correct words to articulate his thoughts or feelings. I’m pretty unbiased and I don’t like some of the language he used in that clip. That is my personal opinion on this, but he probably has seen a lot of awful things and he knows exactly how the casting couch world works. I’m not saying he played a part, (maybe he did, who knows?)…but people have to stop idolising celebrities. Clint Eastwood included. P.S. I am not accusing him of anything. I’m also not convinced he’s ignorant of the horrors that have been happening in Hollywood for the many decades he’s worked there. I think a lot of famous actors, celebrity men have known women (and men) have been subject to unspeakable things, and I honestly hope he never partook or was complicit in letting them happen. A director I know a little of is James Cameron, he is incredibly talented and I couldn’t imagine him kind of skirting around this really important issue as Clint did and not taking it as seriously as he should. 🤷♀️
I love your outfit in that Clint Eastwood interview! Gorgeous! Clint Eastwood is a living legend, and he's not even that wrong I believe. Being politically correct for everything is disturbing
Looking forward to seeing it in the one theater in our area showing it. My two sons saw it and loved it. Clint still has it at 90 plus. A model director. A legend and great. All the other stuff surrounding politics is meaningless for true artists. A hurt and dying world that needs to know the one true living God through Christ Jesus.
Clint Eastwood is harmless. Hollywood is so hypocritical. They talk about how people should always show and display empathy for others all the time, but yet they don’t take the time to consider Clint Eastwood’s background and what he has gone through in his lifetime to get where he’s at. And Hollywood’s track record right now isn’t exactly stellar, so they need to take the time to do a little self-reflection and possibly cancel themselves.
The reality is that this movie isn't very commercial and the new brass at Warners were unhappy with the fact that they spent so much putting out his last film, Cry Macho, and it lost a lot of money. Everyone's always whining about politics, but it always comes down to money. Every time.
When you have bigger problems going on in the world, it's hard to worry about goofy little things that people now fill their time with. Editing to add to this. It's unfortunate that people who aren't driven by political correctness are the ones who will always create the best art, but they're fewer and further in between. Being not politically correct should not be the aim, but telling a story with its true essence should be the aim regardless.
Oh yeah, Eastwood has made Warner Brothers a lot of money. Eastwood has been in the entertainment business for a long time and made a lot of great movies.
#ClintEastwood is a legend, and the trailer for #Juror#2 is one of the best trailers I've seen in a while. Clint is right. Hollywood has gotten boring.
Independent Media is changing everything. A lot of storytelling and no remakes or superhero movies. His films would scooped up in a minute by an independent media studio.
Free speech exists as long as it aligns with the current popular ideals. Maybe when he’s 100 Clint Eastwood will finally be able to speak freely! “Do I feel lucky”? Not today in Hollywood you shouldn’t Clint.

That's awesome. It is only in the US that they limited theatrical release.
Love Clint Eastwood. He seems to be honest and genuine. Thank you for this video!!
May I ask--have you ever interviewed Charlize Theron? I would be interested to learn if my opinion of her is warranted or if I am totally off base. Thank you!
Thank you. And yes I have interviewed Charlize. I like her, but she is a bit intimidating. Maybe because she is so beautiful
@ Thank you! I am so enjoying your videos.
That’s interesting
@@discutio In Italy, I've heard that's a streaming project, exceptionally released in theatres for just a couple of days, too - and I was about to lose it myself.
Clint Eastwood is a legend actor and director and it's terrible how Hollywood is treating him. REELZ "Clint Eastwood Hollywood Outlaw" was excellent. Watch it if you can. 15:17 to Paris was a great movie! Kjerstia and Magnus, loved your summary at the end. Very well said.
Thank you!
Clint is a talented actor 💚💚💚
WB similarly sabotaged the distribution of Kiss Kiss Bang Bang in 2005-effectively killing Val Kilmer’s career. Val had taken the creative liberty of making his character gay.
I love that movie!
Love Clint Eastwood!
Don’t be fooled, unless you know someone behind closed doors, you don’t know them.
Thanks for highlighting this ridiculous control over our viewing choices.....love Clint and his work....he is well entitled to discuss his opinion (he's worked in the idustry long enough) without fear of reactionary cancellation, great job/video Kjersti 👏 👍
Thank you!!
You guys are awesome. HI from Australia..Clint is my favourite actor of all time❤
Always loved Clint Eastwood! 🫶
You are a wonderful couple. It is good to have Magnus point of view too in some of your videos. Clint Eastwood now reminds me to John Ford 😊
Thank you so much. I will tell Magnus.
We should honor our elders and learn from their wisdom.
I subscribed! Thank you!
Aww, thank you!!!
Magnus is so relaxed too. The name reminds me of a Magnum ice cream ❤
Ha ha I’ll tell him that
I'm 56, and my late Grandfather introduced me to Clint's movies when I was 14 years old.
Thank you for watching!
It’s all political which is BS! I respect Clint Eastwood for his talent
Totally irrelevant to the topic, but, the colour of your top is fabulous.
It enhances your eye colour plus goes perfectly with the print behind you!
Aw, thank you!!
I don't think it's a critics darling film really. I don't usually like those. It's a great story with a very interesting plot.
Well if you believe his ex from the Any Which Way but Right films...
I love Clint Eastwood’s films.
Apparently, Republican is a dirty word in Hollywierd
Clint Eastwood is so talented! Shame on Hollywood.
I love your outfit in that Clint Eastwood interview! Gorgeous! Clint Eastwood is a living legend, and he's not even that wrong I believe. Being politically correct for everything is disturbing
Thank you so much!!
you are my favorite Hollywood couple
Awww 💗💗💗
He was right about the whole industry😢.
I will make a LEAVE MAGNUS ALOOOOOOONE campaign 😂 please, leave him be, invite Nelson to your internet show and we'll be happy heart💕💕💕💕💕
I'd love to see it. Is it on Netflix or something?
It's on Max
Looking forward to seeing it in the one theater in our area showing it. My two sons saw it and loved it. Clint still has it at 90 plus. A model director. A legend and great. All the other stuff surrounding politics is meaningless for true artists. A hurt and dying world that needs to know the one true living God through Christ Jesus.
Magnus is so handsome and charming. You both are a lovely couple.
Thank you
Clint Eastwood is harmless.
Every time.
You two should write a book together.
Thank you
When you have bigger problems going on in the world, it's hard to worry about goofy little things that people now fill their time with. Editing to add to this. It's unfortunate that people who aren't driven by political correctness are the ones who will always create the best art, but they're fewer and further in between. Being not politically correct should not be the aim, but telling a story with its true essence should be the aim regardless.
Hollywood is so vanilla these days.
They’re gonna cancel themselves out of existence…🧐
The same people that are involved in censoring journalist about writing about celebrities are so involved in politics too
Love Clint❤❤❤❤
Oh yeah, Eastwood has made Warner Brothers a lot of money. Eastwood has been in the entertainment business for a long time and made a lot of great movies.
#ClintEastwood is a legend, and the trailer for #Juror#2 is one of the best trailers I've seen in a while. Clint is right. Hollywood has gotten boring.
Lets make movies great again. God Bless.
I’m 60 and I take a nap 😂
Me too ha ha. I love it.
He’ll always be Josey Wales. ❤
