@@cophater298 not in PA. i got one 3 weeks ago with 30,000 miles for 20k. Shes absolutely perfect. on carvana and sights like that its flooded with CVT's
@@cophater298 I would say tho LOWWWKEY i have a feeling the next gen cvt is better I got a 2018 kinda wish i TEST DROVE a 22 just to compare but ill live
I really, truly don't see the point of a CVT-equipped WRX sports sedan. Although I will say, the new re-tuned CVT in the 2022-2023 WRX known by Subaru as the Subaru Performance Transmission is far, far better than the last generation whose attributes and responsiveness belong in a Forrester. Although I personally bought the 6speed Sport Tec and see no point in an automatic for this fun little runabout, the SPT is quite smooth and responsive.
that fact that you said you dont see the point of a cvt but the SPT is better shows you nothing about cars and this platform. lmfao. SPT is a CVT. just rebranding. manual drivers say the same about the SPT in the new gen.
I’m not putting anyone down, there are obviously practical reasons for this combo. But I have 0, ZERO, interest in an auto performance car, let alone a CVT. Just seems so unnatural. I’d rather just drive an Accord.
I recently test drive a CVT WRX just to see how it would feel. Shifts are pretty crisp, sure you're losing the manual feel but I will say don't knock it till you try it, Subaru CVT is pretty decent. Reliability might be a different story
@@GK_SquidReliability is fine if you change the transmission fluid every 30k to 50k miles. And of course you drive it with some care and never launch it.

I'm actively driving a 2010 Subaru legacy 2.5 I'm trying to get a 2015 to 2017 WRX premium or limited
Cvts aren't supposed to shift like a automatic or manual trans. Its causing excessive wear on a transmission never designed for high powered engine
Hey dude, nice video. What exhaust system are you running on this car ?
you should've made a vid where the viewer could actually see the road the whole time
Nice vid bro
