Quick question. Using guild wars as an example, and the 50k Katarina. If you, For example have 180% CD and 328% atk. Do these values include guild war flags and glory shop towers? Or is this value from runes alone and the flags/towers go on top?
Jake Parker I’m only showing stats from runes, +stats from towers/flags are not added to it. So all stats in this video would look like as if you’d check your own Katarina in your monster collections. All CD shown would then be her total CD And all +atk would be her atk from runes alone, not her total atk.

No will rune Kat still works for me and I'm in a g1 guild currently. If you're asking me, will runes for Kat is more of a luxury item. It's good, but if it will cost you less 10k damage, then it may not be worth it. Katarina is more of a punisher than a strategic monster if you can put it that way.

I went up against an Orion comp today and his harmless prank completely failed because of my Katarina and Qebehsenuef's Will Runes, and she proceeded to kill everything with her 30k hits so now I like myself again, I guess. Hopefully, next month I'll have better runes. FRR always messes me up because days later I'll still have a ton of necessary monsters unruned.
Chad Phriday Will runes are great against risky defenses such as Orion/strippers. Glad it worked out! Though I don’t use will runes yet myself I tend to avoid those defenses unless I’m short on monsters. The reason I prefer a stronger kat is to instead avoid moments when their eladriel or molong barely survives, and the whole battle is ruined.
Amazing Video ! I have a question for you. All my towers are maxed. Ive got +1586 Att, 86% CR and 230% CD. When I use sword of discharge (unskilled) Why is my Kat only doing 35K when invincible? I tested this on ToAH level 1. For GW my flags are both at level 6 and hit for the same. YD has similar stats, probably maxed flags and can hit for 45K. Any idea why? Thx
Just an update. I max skilled Katarinas 3'rd to make it do maximum damage. When I test on TOAH Stage 1 it does 37K damage WITH Water Horus attack buff (no attack lead). WITH Bernards attack lead it does 41K. YD runs WInd Dragon (LD), Water Horus and Katarina and is able to do 45K consistently. I know his flags are maxed skilled, but I dont think there should be that much of a gap?
archangelvkk It can be a huge difference if you compare without guild flags (ydcb may also use fight runes, I’m not sure, also I’ve seen his past video that he’s slacking a bit with his guild flags :p) But now when you’ve max skilled her, with level 6 flags in both atk(+12%) and CD (+15%) : In Guild Battles: She should deal ~40.5k without atk lead and almost 45K with Bernard leaderskill.

Sorry I might have overestimate 5star runes with my own experience. Maybe I had better runes than I thought back then. In the past I had a fatal kat with 5star runes on 2,4,6 doing ~26k/hit. But most substat had at least 20%+ atk. Nonetheless, in the beginning, it can be difficult to even get her past 30k/hit without any towers upgraded or fight runes.
Alpha Summoner she did 42k when I tested her in scenario. Cd flag is lvl 8 but the others are still lvl 1. I think during the test there was 2 sets of fight from support
Bilal Ayub I see, for guild/siege battles your katarina should hit 44.5K~45K/HIT, thanks to your extra bonus from CD flag. Anywhere outside guild/siege/lab, she will only hit ~42K with your current settings and stats.
Excluded, stats on 2:10 written in green has to come from runes only. Keep in mind on 2:10 that you only need that high stats if you don't have towers/flags upgraded.
David Corrente Yes it looks like it, as long as the increase % stays somewhat close to each other. pretty similar result when I did same thing with Lushen. The more I increased the CD, the less ATK I was allowed to remove to maintain same damage. But it’s less likely you’d go like 230Cd and under 1K +ATK anyway.

I had a choice today between runing my Katarina with Will doing 30k per hit, or no Will doing 41k per hit. I chose Will and now I hate myself. =(
