Started to watch the vid .but found I had a uncontrollable urge to lick the windows
Hi I loved the vid. I will say though, the reason these trains are smoother than the IETs are because of the tracks they run on. HS1 is way smoother for high speed running than the ecml or gwml as theres like no bumps at all in it (though im not saying i wouldnt prefer these to an 801 on ecml heh)

Hiya thanks for the comment! Yeah the IET’s run on Victorian infrastructure so obviously there’s gonna be more bumps, but god they are very bumpy haha, the HST’s were so much better in all honesty. And the Pendolinos are far more comfortable than the IET’s and they run on the same kind of infrastructure as the ECML. Glad you enjoyed the video

13:00 It is that just in case the station is overcrowded on peak hour and it is bc is a regional-commuter high speed train,so platform is (I think) always the same. And always the train is ready to board as soon as it arrives and opens the doors
