I saw his skills back in 2018 and I really liked his skillset. His skill is what Boudica's skills should be in an ideal world. Saving for the Tyrant of Qin but did 3 tix today and got him. Tested him with Caster Gilgamesh and I would say he is my next favourite support.
Lanling has one of the best kits available to a 4 star servant and has a lot of potential for arts team comps especially in stall and crit based arts teams. I think he pairs best with hans, especially after his skill strengthening for that arts crit synergy. Also his rightful place is an excellent budget option for lanling since we were able to get it back in the fate accel zero order re-run.
i'll be honest, i wanted him for years just bc he's so beauuutiful (HAHA) but thankfully he did show up in a few singles (since i'm low on quartz from the last few banners. got baited.) i am contemplating grailing him tbh
May i give an Honorable mention that i like to use a lot... Lanling + Void Shiki! i love that she is an Arts type AOE saber and hate that her arts steroid is only 1 turn, so lanling helps her a lot in my opinion xD
You mustn't forget that he's also a solo monster albeit a slow one but still, his whole kit makes him tough as a nail, and the fact that his reduce enemies np gauge allows him to always have his invincibility ready when the enemy np comes his way. PS, nice vid, I especially like the unit pairing you did, I hope you do more in the future .
Thank you for this video. I'm sooooo grateful for Lan Ling. He was my first SR outside of the beginner pull and got me through SIN in time for the latter half of Sparrow's Inn alongside Buster Martha. Great for decreasing enemy charge, surviving NPs, providing that last bit of np gauge to an ally...and such a nice personality! I use 2nd ascension because I'm embarrassed to have him in a fight without the mask! >_
I've managed to get him last night during his rate up and God am I glad I did! He is amazing! Btw just for fun, I pair him with Ozymandias and they take a lot of pressure from eachother, given they both have skills that enhance buff success rate!
Not surprised at all that he's good. Have heard nothing less than that the whole time. But...I'm still not really going to try for him. Put too much in on Ereshkigal's banner so I'm in saving mode. Was absolutely worth it though! Plus honestly if I need a Saber to play support then I'm more than happy to let Nero Bride have that. But no doubt he is going to help a lot of people going forward.

My main goal in this banner is QinLiangyu but if the prince comes hes always welcome in my Chaldea (tho he will need to wait for a while to ascend since I have no saber monuments to use on him cuz I have so many sabers)
I really want at least 1 copy of him, but I feel I'd have thrown one SSR's worth of luck in the trash if Xiang Yu comes instead (not that he's that bad, I just feel absolutely nothing for him).
You call him underrated but yet I have heard nothing but him being the best character in banner one and maybe the best character out of all lb2. Personally I don't need him or have any resources to pull being that I blew my load trying to get mhx and failing but that was expected.

He’s not THAT underrated but in comparison to Yu Miaoyi he’s pretty under-appreciated. I’m only hoping he will get more love when he comes tomorrow.
