My theory is that he simply made a new identity for himself and now wanders the Zone waiting for It to finally take him.
The Charon theory is another interesting one
I wish that they added more of these characters on STALKER Anomaly. It's really cool to see a separate non canon lore being introduced as their own story. For example, if you have an NPC identifiers add-on you can check out the name of one of the duty soldiers who's guarding Rostok entrance from Garbage and his name is Gavrilenko, implying that major Degtyarev sided with Duty (when discovering the truth about Duty history) on the event of CoP thus Kremen is dead. That hidden hint is awesome imo.

@@LuisC7 Well, you can see more of it by just playing STALKER anomaly. It's a standalone mod for STALKER CoP and you don't need the base game for it. It's a cool mod that blends all 3 of the previous STALKER game but with it's own story.

Ah yes, the **best** protagonist of the Stalker games.
Yeah, Clear Sky was the first Stalker game i played. Introduced me to the whole franchise and what-not, so i'm biased.
I would also be very pleased if Stalker 2 somehow explores more of Scar's story.

Regarding the Charon theory: I believe Charon is actually the only NPC in SoC that uses Vintorez. I might be wrong, but if true, than that is something that supports the Charon theory
Scar was my favorite protagonist, with Stelok as a close second. Having the ability to survive emissions is great. The only thing that would be better is to have invulnerability to Monolith too.

You and Anomalous Dugout are like a dynamic duo. You both have great content on S.T.A.L.K.E.R. I've only played Clear Sky and only recently, but I appreciate both of you. Also the audio at 8:38 is missing.

i love mods that have him as the main character (not many)
he has the most personality out of strelok, him, and degtyarev, those two (especially strelok) were never given too much of a personality and their dialogue is very straightforward and boring.
you think Scar became the first human artifact? I mean the blowout often makes new artifact after it ended, so it makes me think that he's the rarest type of artifact manifestation because of it?
and btw did you try playing Stalcraft? It has same universe in Stalker but it has a lot of interesting stories

Oh I know what happened to him. He survived and asked me for help fending off pseudodogs at a power station in Zaton years after the events of Clear Sky.

In my game I was left alive after everything that happened at the end. So naturally I wondered back to the Clear Sky base for a final drink and said goodbye to what was left of my former crew
Modded? The game doesnt have freeplay by default,so either you used the transition bug just after shutting down streloks psi protection or you have some mod .

Thats the odd thing, we never know if Scar was the one who killed Fang, theres a theory in the comunity that explain that sometimes in the Zone space anomalies apeared and create copies of yourself and wander in the Zone, explaining apearences of death characters, only to apear again alive in other areas (like father Valerian in the red forest)
I always loved Clear Sky but one thing that bugged me from the start was that outside of the two scripted emissions you actually can't survive any. It would have been fun if you could actually just survive one or two more random emissions without cover. There could be gameplay costs and benefits to this as well and the player could choose if the reward is worth it. Say you need to take over a base or swipe some items, clear out a mutant lair, whatever. Well, will you risk doing it during an emission knowing that you could die, but if you don't then your job is significantly easier because any mutant that comes out into the open instantly dies and all the human npcs are huddled together in one position? What if you had a quest where you could either wait for an emission and sneak through a checkpoint or fight your way through conventionally?
We are seeing Strelok being brainwashed by the c-conciouseness through the eyes of Scar, who became a Monolith soldier.
Strelok lives but without his memories.

Scar is the same single hero as Major Degtyarev. We probably won't see Scar again.
Who played Gamma know very well hes still out there n kicking.
Scar is locked in a capsule as part of c-con project and he is mad as hell and if or when breaks out in stalker2, hell will break loose

Oddly enough my theory on Savior is that he is Scar’s son and he went into the zone to search for what has become of his father, just my theory though. And my theory on Scar’s past is that he started in the zone as a bandit made friends with the mercenaries lost his bandit friends to the military which os why he isn’t a fan of the military linked up with the mercenaries and fell away from the bandit life and became a self made mercenary that did freelance work in the zone, just my own take on the character.
And after hearing the rest of your video another theory pop up in my head, what if one of these freelance missions had scar captured by the C-conscientious mind and was already converted into a Stalker like Stralok in shadow of Chernobyl of the conscientious mind and that’s why he survived due to the fact the monolith can survive these emersions, just another thought.
