X-19 was either a really important or a really basic lab. For them to completely sanitize any documents on the lab probably means the former, which makes me really want to know WHAT they were researching to consider it so important after the creation of the zone to not instantly run away and clean the site first.
That's what I was thinking as well. In other labs, something very obviously went wrong or they were just used by monolith as staging areas. X-19, I guess, is important and they do have a garrison above on the surface, but its just odd that there's pretty much nothing down there. I'm guessing its a game design decision due to the timer, but I'd like to know if there we're other plans for the place.
from what we know when the second disaster happens most of the people in the zone where killed or have gone missing and whit the fragmentation of the group probably not wanting info to fall in the wrong hand and the rest of the Group for what i think was probably clean off be the monolith and clear sky to hide the secret of there operation
Nice addition to the Lore fren. The dark corridors and narrow hallways crawling with mutants could make an interesting addition to Stalker story time as well.
man, been playing stalker for ages, and I just discover your channel... I'm burning through those videos like an absolut maniac ^^ Amazing quality content, keep it up ! : ) Good luck in the zone
I know that stalker 2 is delayed because of a certain armed conflict but I really hope they keep delaying it until it’s done. All of the cut content from the original games would’ve been AMAZING. I would’ve loved to see what GSC’s plans for sin were, and I’m especially interested in seeing what this creature of the fog would’ve been. I know the latter is just rumors online but I have so much love for this game and what it could’ve been I want it to be true
@@IntoTheZone If you're a fan of these underground sections of the zone I would definitely recommend giving this a try. X7, X3, X4, X6, X1, X2. You play as a major who was sent before the dude in call of pripyat to investigate fairway.. Sorry for the spoilers but just a word of caution: the mod is hard and may remind you of doom.
Thanks for the awesome content! This kind of lore video is really nice. I wish we had some more stories about the X-Labs, or the creepy scientific experiments done in the Zone in general.
Dilapidated equipment, Deadly Anomalies, zombiefied humans, mutants, and agents of the c-consciousness. None will stop Into The Zones triumphant march, to document the zone!
About the name, it could just follow old eastern bloc numbering conventions for military units. A 63rd "Something Something brigade" created by merging the 6th and 3rd something battalion into a 63rd Brigade. It was pretty common. So X15/16/9 etc could be offshoots of programs With (Just as a random off the top of my head example) say X1= Noosphere primary research and then you'd have 5-for Mammalian species, 6 for Specifically Homo Sapiens, or specific characteristics of subjects like defining psychological trait, ethnicities, criminalities etc.
the only thing i hate about the labs is that every single mod sends the player there sooner or later and they are always locked and filled with mutants i'd love to see labs either completely empty or occupied by army or bandits
Got into Stalker for the first time ever with the gamma mod pack, and im loving the game and this channel is a great adition to learn about stalker. Still dont have the balls to go to the x-labs lmao. Should i play the original stalker games without mods? im asking cz i guess they are kinda old so idk if they are worth playing
Absolutely. I'm one of the people who got swept up in the GAMMA fad - had to wait a couple days for the servers to decongest so I can actually download GAMMA - but prior to that, I had already played through Shadow of Chernobyl and Call of Pripyat (I held off on Clear Sky because I didn't like what what was being said in reviews about it). What 'story' events are in base Anomaly and GAMMA are non-canon, but what happens in Shadow of Chernobyl, Clear Sky, and Call of Pripyat are canon. So if lore is what you're after, the three original games do a better job of lorebuilding than Anomaly or GAMMA do. Yes, playing through them now, the age and jank hits you in the face with all the subtlety of a wet fish, but it's clear that the games were made with love and passion despite their shortcomings - something that I would be hard-pressed to say about a majority of mainstream games nowadays.
@@zen_7748 play clear sky even though its somewhat bad you it has the most character so you ll probably have a love and hate relationship with it like me im o nmy second playthrough of it right now
Not sure which variant of the AK he uses (god there are so many AK variants), but it looks like a regular AK-47 to me. The other rifle is the L300. The pistol appears to be a Browning Hi-Power.

Well I mean beyond the Scorcher of course but I get the impression that was not the primary function of the lab

that's the most insane FOV i've ever seen anyone play brother

thanks fren, glad you enjoyed
My favorite locations in stalker and reason i almost got a heart attack several times
I enjoyed your perspective on the X-Labs. Got me thinking if there are others we have yet to learn more about in STALKER 2. Who knows?

every time I get a mission to go into any of the labs a shiver goes down my spine because of how deadly they are
Been waiting for this, thanks :) Love your STALKER lore stuff, keep it up!
Thanks man, glad you enjoyed it.
Been playing Stalker for the first time lately, these videos have been a vital asset to me understanding The Zone :)

You're absolutely right my friend.. There are more X Labs than we think. You get to visit Lab X7 in one of the mods called Trapped. Try it.
Ah yeah I've heard of that one. I you also go to x-7 in lost alpha (I believe, its been forever)

I still know when I played stalker master difficulty in x 16 and i counted how many times I died 23 times😢
the only thing i hate about the labs is that every single mod sends the player there sooner or later and they are always locked and filled with mutants

Is there a mod being used in the video? The graphics look great compared to what I remember
Lmao the video length is 12 minutes 34 seconds I’m sleep that’s actually funny and good
the x labs reminded me of vaults, like vaults are as messed up but at least the x labs are labs so no problem
It would be cool if there was an x-lab that was still being used by the group, or any faction that you can raid
Love the lore videos
Where do you get so much amazing art? :O
Great vid fren
