You can't make a town because there is no rotate. So no way to makes both sides of a street etc.
This is a crazy limiting feature.
A similar set that had more "landscaping buildings" could be a useful boon. Such as windmills, towers, wells, small barns, cottages etc. So you could easily make a world look more lived in. And create landmarks.
If you have the ability to get the World Edit add-on , it really makes a big difference.
I believe the creators of this addon also said they are adding the ability to rotate the houses as well as more craftable houses

It's not quite an undo tool but I did create a homebrew structure pack that has a series of mcstructures that are air blocks of various sizes 5x5, 10x10, 16x16, 64x64... It definitely helps with playing around with auto generating structures.
They need to remove all the crafting recipes from the crafting table. It fills up the crafting list with all kinds of junk. There needs to be a work station with blue prints on top for all those house recipes to be put in.
Atleast tinkers construct use a special crafting table so your crafting list isn't filled with 10 different kinds of wooden swords.
That's actually a good idea.
Trying to find all the houses sometimes is kind of a pain when you're not familiar and search doesn't always work right.
@@SoulOnFire-gd4xh plus if every addon you add flooded the crafting table with recipes then it'll be hard to find a recipe and console players don't like the search bar because they dont have a keyboard.

One of the best ways to go about this is an indicator about the size of the structure and placing the structure based on the player's rotation. This is what my newest add-on is all about!

A highlighted grid of the affected area would definitely help 👍
I wish there was a placement square or they say how much room you need. It places the buildings center to the block you place it on. It is hard to tell if the building is gonna clip or not.
To be completely honest, combining this add-on with the World Edit add-On, is a pretty sweet combo.
Align your house, exhange blocks with mask and enjoy the hard work that went into the build.
And I'm one of those people that's not really good at creating, but I enjoy editing.
Would like to see more structures, and I would have blocks that are included that are not affected by gravity such as concrete powder.
I enjoy the Oriental medium that uses an iron block in the recipe.
On iOS it makes things a little bit laggy almost like in a similar sense of having the random tick speed on a high setting. Once the building's been set, save quit, remove the add-on from the world, then enjoy.
this is were the world builder addon would come in handy. could copy the house, clear the old house, rotate, and paste house with more precision.

This add-on reminds me of the Prefab mod on Java. In that mod you get your first house, which is a starter house, for free. I usually build The Tower which features a basement with two furnaces and barrels for storage. Above that is a ground level entrance room with two floors above that. All the houses in this mod also feature a vertical mineshaft with a ladder that almost goes to bedrock. There is a preview feature that allows you to rotate the image by changing your position. The house in the preview image is always facing you so if you want it to face north you have to be facing south. Like this add-on there's no way to undo what you have built once it's placed. The mod also features barns, bridges, lookout towers, a town hall with a jail, a Nether portal and several other builds. I did use several of these in my ATM8 world. There are several videos on TH-cam about the Prefab mod.

Agreed. It is an option, *but* why should it have to be?
Just be careful where you place you base make sure you are not near a large under water pool it creates havoc.

ecko i will agree with you but maybe the world builder add-on could fix the issues your talking about but i have discovered that a bug with the world builder add-on and that bug is with the world builder wand

This would be useful if they were all normal, realistic houses. The medieval and sci-fi and secret bases are boring. I'd rather build my own houses, anyway, but if I used pre-made houses, I'd want plenty of realistic options, not the boring fantasy ones.

That is impossible to undo since it is a structure,while you can remove the house it is very difficult to put back all the blocks that were destroyed
There is an addon in the marketplace that allows you to undo custom structures and rotate, so no… not impossible.

Backup your world before you place anything. Adjustments and accidents do happen often with this mod.

I bought this AddOns and sorry I did… Horrible designs especially inside. Not practical. Amateurish builds at best… I would rank this a negative one star… and that is being generous. The only AddOn that I wish I wouldn’t have purchased.

i can tell, this addon is already gonna be bad, cuz minecraft is a sandbox game and building is one of its elements and you won't be good until you go practice and practice, and practice makes perfect. this addon just takes away the player's creativity, gives more reasons to be lazy, and many people can't even access the addon because it's all locked on a paywall.

Exactly. Minrcraft is asandbox which means you can platy how YOU want. If people want prefabricated builds just let them. No need to gatekeep other players fun.
You said it yourself, it’s a sandbox. That means there are no limits to how you can play (outside of what cant be coded). If people dont want to build, why should you care? Let them play the way they want. That’s the point of the sandbox.
I would have given it a 4.3 it could be good to use on a new flat world giving it 2 is for Dumbo a sandbox game is a sandbox game you play however you want to not the way you want others to be playing 24/7 because there is no end of the world once you defeated the dragon
