Too many duplicate add-ons are being added to the marketplace. What I'd love to see added is some form of Mini Map or Travel Atlas similar to what Java has. Ecko, do you know anything about what experimental features exist that we can expect to come into stable release. It gets so frustrating seeing some great add-ons posted on other sources that almost always require experimental settings. I'd love to know what kind of progress has been made on that front. Maybe that might be a good topic for an upcoming video?
marketplace addons dont really like to stay vanilla style, which is a very dumb decision imo considering vanilla style is the most seek category of mods on java
The backpacks are cute but more for younger players. I would rather see more functional ones, like ones that can be expanded to hold more items, maybe one that sends items into an ender chest that could be set up to go into a storage system, maybe one that holds food that would automatically be used if you are hungry, for examples. Ah, you’re looking for Sophisticated Backpacks! Look up that mod. I think that’s for Java, but you can find the Traveler’s Backpack add on for Bedrock and for free. KeyDevy has a few videos on that, check em out 👍
One really important thing to note about these: Apparently when you sleep with one of these backpacks on... The backpack detaches close by. So if you decide to use a random village bed, look around for the backpack first when you wake up... Otherwise, you might stray too far away from it like I did and wonder where it went. XD
For anyone having issues with the backpack not moving to your back (and just dropping to the ground) I found that the add on that directly conflicts with this is the Air drop add on. Remove that and the backpacks will work.
Thanx both for the info, I have been troubleshooting this for hours and was not sure if my conclusion was correct, sadly it does conflict with ‘Air Drop’ but I cannot miss the fun behind Airdrops so back to waiting for a backpack add-on that doesn’t conflict with my 5 ‘must have’ add-ons. When I saw that the same creators of the XP Crystal Bank add-on made this, I had high hopes for it's quality. But the video trailer linked with the marketplace didn't show anything helpful to describe how it actually worked, just what some of the designs were. I'm really glad you reviewed this so soon!
Mojang needs to look at this is a good solution to early game inventory not the bundle thay are making that is like puting a bandaid on a gaping wound.
The backpack plus Sniffer Egg feels like you just hatched the Sniffer and directly turned it into a backpack... anywho, good add on and good review 😁 might I also suggest the ore detector mod, it is surprisingly well thought out and pretty cool for a mod 👀 OH and a feature of the backpacks you didn't review! they not only survive in lava, but they also float!
Btw just a sad look with another 30 TNTs Add-on is just a straight copy from the original TNT Add-on. The new team, Pixel Smiles Studios may or may not stolen some original designs from Tsunami Studios TNT Add-on cause there are 3 that are using the same exact model and texture of them: cluster tnt, throwable tnt and one being different but have the same model just different color palette change is the healing tnt. I didn’t bother downloading the 30 TNTs one due to the similarities and same concept, the ONLY key difference is they add new ones which is still the same thing Tsunami Studios has already made just done with different shades and colors. Please whatever you do DONT make a video on it cause the moment you see the $5.00 cash grab you’ll soon see why I said it.
I had an issue where my stuff in the backpack all just disappeared for no reason, have never found out why, and when I reset my world to figure it out my backpack was gone entirely
I really like this backpack add on! It doesn't take up the chest slot. I do wish they were upgradable for more space. Also if you notice you can't go through better portals, take the backpack off.
i got through a spark portal with my backpack still on, but going back home through the portal it came off. i clicked the home portal again and it appeared on the floor so it kinda works, but just a bit buggy. it seems like a limitation with spark portals rather than the mod itself
my opinion on this, is well i actually like this, except the glitching, and when u place them down it's not always centered on the block, and it kinda looks like it's using an entity and teleporting, rather than anything else.. otherwise it looks like a pretty good addon, if they fix those issues I'd like it more also actually i forgot to mention, i don't like the requirement for the hammer to put it in inventory and items not staying in while using hammer on the backpack

I hope everything is understood since my English is not very good, I have some doubts, I imagine that the backpack takes the place of the armor in the game so my doubt would be, is there no way to have complete protection and the backpack? I also have the question of how an entity is, when we lie down in a bed the backpack is removed automatically? This happened with the other backpack addon, with the protection the backpack acted as a kind of basic diamond armor, there wasn't that much of a problem but a big problem I had was that if you equip the backpack, you would take it off and put on your armor Anybody, basic or enchanted, and you went to bed, the game detected it as a backpack and took off your armor and it disappeared. It's a horrible problem, the truth is, I don't know if this adom has it too, I would like to know before buying it if anyone could try these options

I completely refuse to get the other backpack mod simply because of the way you have to crouch and jump to take it off picture this you're in the nether going along a single row of Netherrack crouching so you don't fall and you jump to get a higher advantage and now your backpack is falling into the love of below you however with this one you have to punch while crouching which still isn't the best but it is far better
This is still bad backpack add-on for me 2/10 we don't care about the quantity we care about quality, we don't care extravagant designs we care for more storage It should have lvl 1, lvl 2 and lvl 3 backpack the more lvl the backpack the more storage like full chest or more than the full chest And it should have the same mechanics as shulker box For me i don't care about the price as long as the backpack add-on has the best quality of it like what i write at the top 😅✌️
Having to have a hammer to put it in your inventory just take up inventory space, why do you need a hammer? I can't wait for bundles to come to vanilla Minecraft. They do look good though.
Why cant Mojang just introduce backpacks? Its such a simple feature, yet instead we get broken add-ons that dont work, disable achievements on survival, cost money and cant be used on exisiting worlds most of the time.
Ive had absolutely awful things occur to me while using this addon. The 3rd time it happened i had to reload a save from days before because the stuff i had in the backpack couldnt be replaced. Basically just dropping the bag to take things out of it and it just despawns. This addon is extremely buggy and should not be used until the creator patches all the glitches/bugs. With the announcement of bundles there is absolutely no reason to use this awful addon.

A common issue I see with the bedrock addons is that every interactable thing is an entity rather than a block. If that makes sense
The hammer seems like a super jangy solution for a decent addon outside of that
