The smell of freshly opened 40 year old mackerel = Not that bad.

I didn't realize until he tested them and saw they had lead, so I came to see if there were comments warning him about lead poisoning lol

It’s June 20th, 2023 and I turned 23 on January 27th of this year. This video was uploaded 1 year and 1 week ago, so I was 22 back then. That would’ve made this fish 18 years older than me. haha 😅

It's so fascinating looking at something that's been contained in a can for so long. In complete darkness, the flesh of fish was sitting for over 40 years. So odd to think about.

You could take a small bit of cotton and draw some of the fluid through the cotton in to a syringe ( like a medicine dosing syringe, no needle) and that may render clear fluid for testing

I've gotten canned jack mackerel before because it's a cheap lunch item! Nothing fantastic about it and like pink salmon I pretty much treated them like a tuna salad because I didn't really know what else to do with it!!
