I've been waiting so badly to see a proper cabinet style build. The first thing I thought when I saw full height cabinetry was.... you'd almost think this guy knew what he was doing... nailed it lol. I'm a finish carpenter and do a lot of custom built-ins, wouldn't claim to be a cabinet maker though lol. I also have a small Palomino slide in camper. So I always thought other peoples builds were missing out on so much. But you, Nailed it. Nice work!
Thank you so much!!
By far the best project M build have seen yet!!
Thank you!!
What an amazing setup!!! I think he could go full time just selling this setup!
For a Angry Camper that’s some really well designed/made cabinets to make any camper Happy Really liked the magnet door locks
Great setup your daughter is lucky to have a good Daddy like you
Best build I've seen. Nice work, James!
great build! one of the top builds i've seen for project M's. I am debating between aluminum extrusions or using wood since wood is much cheaper.
Good build
That is a brilliant build! I love the ability to move from a work truck to a play rig the way he's done it. Great job!
Thank you!!
The level of attention to detail here is fantastic!
This looks like a great build. Nicely done! Thank you for sharing it.
Nice overland build on that Toyota tundra. I've been looking at those Four Wheels Campers and they look to be the right Camper for overlanding. I'm thinking I need one.
Nice build, thank you.
Rad setup. Nice work!
Great build. Very cool.
Thanks Vas for taking the time to do this walk through, I really appreciate you taking the time for this !!!
My pleasure!
Super nice build inside! Have lots of fun!
Nice build. Very well thought out. Contemplating something similar. I have an older 2500HD with an 8’ bed.
🤑🤙
If I ever got one I would want this setup. Looks great.
Should sell those cabinets, the pop off doors are genius!
Thank you!!
Nice setup
Still love this setup... Masterfully done.
Thank you!!
Nice, I used to build them in woodland.
Very nice build you did a great job! I'm going to do something similar to my truck in the future, you definitely gave me some good ideas. God Bless
Thank you!!
Love the Angry Camper name, very fitting!!! We will have to go on a camping trip next time you are out in Reno.
Hey you guys!!!
Sweet build out.
Thank you!!
Take my money bro
The guy looks like he’s 6 foot plus but standing next to his truck and camper he looks like a little person munchkin, awesome build btw
I am 6 foot :) Camper is 10 ft when it is popped up, it gives me 6' 10" of height on the inside, so it doesn't even begin to feel cramped.
I love it, thinking about getting one for my Gladiator. I heard that you need E rated tires for this, do you know if that is true?
That is awesome build.
Do you do builds for others?
Wow
Great video.
Does the topper raffle when it's windy?
Safe travels. Thank you for sharing.
I would definitely build for others, let me know if you are interested and thanks for the awesome compliment. The topper does make noise in the wind.
@@theangrycamper thank you. I'm in the research process on what rig I want to go with. If I chose to go this way I definitely will reach out.
James takes his hygiene seriously
Especially my 10 year old daughter's hygiene ;)
I built the camper out this way to take my daughter on a 6 week cross country trip. The trip was awesome and she LOVED it!! It was soooo cool to save thousands of dollars on hotel stays and other fees associated with long trips.
Beautiful! How much did the build cost? Thank you!
I am a cabinet maker so the "build" only cost me my time very little in materials maybe $400, as far as, solar and water I probably have about $1200 not including the fridge and camping accessories/gear
Do you have some sort of heater?
with the propane on the left and the water heater on the right, how do you connect the two?
I have a 12' hose that runs around the front bed wall and connects to a wye that runs the water heater and the camp stove, also extends to attach to the BBQ. With that line I also have power for the water pump .
Do you have any issues with the lion in cold weather?
It has no low temp charging protection in the BMS, so when it gets cold I just disconnect the solar and run it. so far so good and as we approach winter I will see how it goes, I can add an RV tank heater directly to the battery to keep it above 45 degrees if and when I find it necessary.
Love the build out but why cover the egress window on the driver side. I know he gained more storage but I'm not sure if that is a safe idea.
I wanted a camper with no windows at all but they required me to have one, as a captain, I am not afraid to go down with my ship;)
You have a tailgate and a door over the tailgate. If you need to egress, the best way to egress is usually the same way you get in/out every day. Also, the sides are canvas, if you really need to get out (if not using the tailgate) just grab a knife and cut your way out. No one will be in the camper while the truck is moving, so that rules out auto accidents jamming the tailgate exit.
@@justsmy5677 yep!!
I saw your M for sale locally a whilw back. Reason for selling?
Basically because of evolution. After going on multiple trips with Vas and the crew, the M was just too big and heavy to wheel on those trails. It was perfect for fire roads and similar but as soon as we start hitting rocky trails its not nearly nimble enough to fit.
What is your setup now for the new trails?
Check it out in the video Wednesday 20th
Where does his daughter sleep?
We share the king size bed up top.
Can’t believe you called his build a heavy pig 👎
It actually is pretty heavy, fully wet its about 7640lbs, GVWR is 7100.....
