Repping NYC! We love Onewheel's as commuter boards. The pint was always the best cause it fits into a gym locker. The Onewheel lineup is more robust than ever, got a board for every level and price. Did a 10k mile review for the GT on my channel, and my OG pint is top 15, I LOVE my pint but the GT was the perfect fit for the commuter who needed range. This Pint will give that power to people who don't need the GT range. Big ups to the Future Motion team!

Same battery config as pintx. Seems like the main difference is the tire and flared footpads (plus the mag pro handle). Nice to see you’re giving the former pintx a boost and starting to include some of the better accessories in the standard package without having to purchase separately. Something the community has been wanting for a long time.
Yea, you could think of it as a souped up factory upgraded Pint X for $1400 which is a pretty killer deal for first time riders or those looking to add a small board to the quiver.
Beautiful board. I ride pint, and I still LOVE that board so much. For me, the biggest and coolest thing is that future motion DROPPED existing pricing and came in at a reasonable price. I feel like I'm getting an x soon just because it's more affordable. Although honestly, ridinregular old pint, I wonder if I even need more. I shred that bad boy❤ thanks for the price point, in all sincerity FM. and for the sport in general.
Just got my new Pint S!!! Rides like a dream and I love the new tire and footpads. HOWEVER, it seems like the top speed is still just 18 mph like the X. I get pushback at 16/17 mph and buzz at 18. It even say the max is 18 in the ride modes. What’s going on!?

I've got the origo pint and my dad got the old xr, we sat and watched the whole video and i think we both want it, because it's better than pint, and as good as XR, but it has treaded tire and simplestop. It's just perfect, and i love it. The Pint S is just👌👍👍

So unless there are unmentioned hardware improvements in the motor, battery, or controller, all that is keeping the pint X from going 20 is a firmware update. Was hoping for some more upgrades from a s series board.
Same internal hardware yes. We invested a ton of time and energy creating performance firmware for the platform and very pleased with how it’s turned out. You’ll have to ride it but I think you’ll dig it.

@@Onewheel doesn't the GT now also have Gradient Tracking? I'm pretty sure Pint S riders would appreciate the added safety of gradient tracking on steeper downhills especially, I prefer not having to "send it" when it get steep

Great release, making progress on custom settings. I am still missing board diagnostics features though.. I’m thinking battery cell voltage (cell balance), battery health (current capacity vs factory capacity), etc…

Any chance of being able to re-level our own boards in the future? I would defiantly be more prone to buy more boards in the future (like a GTS or future upgrade) if that were the case.
I’ve been riding OW for 8 yrs, and mostly commute in the city. I wouldn’t change Pint for anything (except a Pint S 😅). My XR is collecting dust in the attic. Walking with a Pint into an office (shop, cafe) doesn’t feel like you are holding a dirt bike, like it does feel with an XR or a GT. Bottom line - please stop calling it a beginner’s board. It’s an urban pocket rocket, that’s what it is.

luckily you will get the performance bump. I will say the Performance Treaded tire is a massive upgrade as are the Flared Pads. Black rails are sick as well.

One thing you guys can do to make it easier for my kid to ride is have a posi footpad option w/ simplestop. Right now its really hard for him to ride my pintx because of his weight.
Hoping gts remains on top for the next 2 years at least. I dont want it to be replaced with something better yet lol. My wallet isnt ready. I think 3 years is solid. But I suspect we'll another flagship onewheel next year.

A question for you guys, is the top speed actually 20mph? or does pushback come in at 18 like other models? you said "it unlocks cruising speed at 20mph" but I'm a skeptical because of past models. I was really hoping the top speed would be 22mph because then we could actually cruise at 20 before pushback/haptic. Maybe its different though. Could you let me know? If it is, is that true with pint x update too?
I’m disappointed because I bought the Pint S as an addition to the other four Onewheel boards that I have. I don’t NEED another board however this could have been a replacement to my XR. I haven’t opened it yet and most likely will send it back because all the reviews are saying it’s very hard to hit 20 mph. From this launch video, they make it sound like that’s the cruising speed, which is very deceptive.

I feel like there could’ve been more improvements, why not a higher voltage battery upgrade and a motor upgrade like the GTS? As well as still no high beams 😢
This. Imo future motion should have waited to make an actual new board with these hardware improvements instead of re-releasing the px with add ons and a software update. That said I respect the work they put into the new software and I'm glad it's coming to the px

It gets 12-18 mph. Enough to get where you want to go and back no problem.

Custom shaping is blowing mosfets fuses. I suggest riding on the presets like pacific or skyline. This is affecting both X and S

No point. You can turn your Pint X into a Pint S with accessories. Pint X performance will be same as Pint S with the firmware update!

Nope. More in line with XR style Custom Shaping if you're familiar with that. If you want all the bells and whistles ya gotta go GT-S 🤘

Noooo, I just bought a Pint X a month ago and I love the black rails!
luckily you will get the performance bump. I will say the Performance Treaded tire is a massive upgrade as are the Flared Pads. Black rails are sick as well.

One thing you guys can do to make it easier for my kid to ride is have a posi footpad option w/ simplestop. Right now its really hard for him to ride my pintx because of his weight.
Just modify the footpad cable. Super easy!

Hoping gts remains on top for the next 2 years at least. I dont want it to be replaced with something better yet lol. My wallet isnt ready. I think 3 years is solid. But I suspect we'll another flagship onewheel next year.
I’m mad, literally just got my pint x like a month ago. I would’ve just got this instead, of course they would do this right after putting pint X on sale and they don’t accept returns or nothing like that..
Don't be.. it's almost identical to the pint x. If you get a treaded tire and flared footpads you'll have the exact same product.
A question for you guys, is the top speed actually 20mph? or does pushback come in at 18 like other models?
you said "it unlocks cruising speed at 20mph" but I'm a skeptical because of past models. I was really hoping the top speed would be 22mph because then we could actually cruise at 20 before pushback/haptic.
Maybe its different though. Could you let me know? If it is, is that true with pint x update too?
I’m disappointed because I bought the Pint S as an addition to the other four Onewheel boards that I have. I don’t NEED another board however this could have been a replacement to my XR. I haven’t opened it yet and most likely will send it back because all the reviews are saying it’s very hard to hit 20 mph. From this launch video, they make it sound like that’s the cruising speed, which is very deceptive.

Why make it better with a “new” board? Just put out a software update and the performance tire with the footpads for the pint x.

New Pint X rider here! super excited for the firmware update, as I can feel myself pushing the limits of the board and would love to really take it to the next level take it to the next level! Is the top speed upgrade coming with the update as well?
Are the rail guards and fenders compatible with pint x?
I feel like there could’ve been more improvements, why not a higher voltage battery upgrade and a motor upgrade like the GTS? As well as still no high beams 😢
This. Imo future motion should have waited to make an actual new board with these hardware improvements instead of re-releasing the px with add ons and a software update. That said I respect the work they put into the new software and I'm glad it's coming to the px
