I haven’t used the botanix brand, but for Batana oil in general, I usually apply throughout my entire hair care routine. I use it as a scalp oil that I don’t rinse out until wash day. I also use it a pre-poo treatment (applying 1 hour - 1 day b4 washing) to my scalp and hair as well. After using Batana as my pre-poo, I shampoo and deep condition my hair
How is this brand of Batana oil treating you? I did more research and there’s so many folks talking about fakes made in China, etc. Is this a good brand?
See before I got this brand, I heard a lot of ppl talking about fake Batana oil. I bought 3 different brands of Batana oil and I liked this one the best. I got the liquid one which also linked in my original Batana video. The solid one which is my favorite shown in this video, and another brand. The other brand that I didn’t mention in this video smelled really bad (kind of like smoke) so I returned it. I think this brand is legit and my hair loves it. If it’s not the “real” Batana oil. It’s the real something
I’ve only used it as a pre-poo. So I can only vouch for it in that way. Since this is more of a butter/oil, I wouldn’t apply this to wet hair after shampooing. I think it’s important to rinse the oils/fats off.

It works well for me and others. But there do appear to be more raw forms of Batana. Just like there are different iterations or coconut oil or any other oil. But I really like this brand 🤍
Yes I made sure to show you all that my before is me taking out my protective style. Then I kept the Batana oil in overnight. Then rinsed it out the following day. I also included some comparisons in the video how my hair looked without a pre-poo. Hope that helps
