So I thought I’d include that in this video to show his stamp of approval. But hey, it’s working out pretty well for me so far. New Subbie here!! Great video!! I love Batana oil! I use the jar kind too. This coming Saturday I’ll be at 20 weeks post relaxer! I only have a relaxer for increased manageability not to have straight hair so I only put heat on it when I do my relaxer. I’m just below bra strap but above waist length. Trying to get to waist then tailbone then bumpkin length! I was getting relaxers every 17 weeks which is 3 times per year. But with Batana oil I think I’ll make it to 26 weeks which is twice per year! It softens my new growth while strengthening the hair shaft strands and moisturizes the scalp very nicely!! This stuff is by far the best hair oil I’ve ever used and I’m an old gal!! I’ll be 55 next month! Because of the smell I also put a little Rosemary oil on my scalp too and massage it in!! Great stuff and even better together!!

Oh and it also naturally darkens the hair!! Another added bonus for anyone who doesn’t want to dye their hair or cover gray. I like my gray but I’m OK with this darkening it because it’s a natural oil and not a chemical! By the way, I use it about every 3-4 days or twice per week on hair and scalp as a leave in!! But I don’t shampoo often and Batana oil not only moisturizes but aids in scalp cleansing…..thus the pre poo. I may get the liquid oil to use as a pre poo but I like my solid in the jar for my leave in!!❤

That’s actually tomorrow’s upload 🙂. So I used the Batana oil as a pre-poo, shampooed , and then still followed up with a deep conditioner and honestly my hair looked so good! I was actually surprised at the hydration and definition my hair had compared to when I just shampooed and deep conditioned without a pre-poo and I’ll show that in the video. Honestly I would still use a deep conditioner bc that’s my standard, I don’t want to skip step and then find out my hair needs more moisture. Hey there 🙂. Thanks for watching! I actually like the product that I’m using and that why I shared it. I can only make reviews on things I’ve tried. I have another video showing me use this product on my hair. My hair absolutely loved it. I would say it’s brown, but definitely no hints of orange. I bought one other one that spelled chemically/burnt off Amazon and I immediately returned it. Hopefully this video just helps other ppl make informed decisions about what they choose to do with their hair.

Hey! Thanks so much for watching. I appreciate it. I definitely would say to try out Batana oil as a pre-poo and scalp oil that you leave in as well. If you are experiencing alopecia, try spraying some rosemary water on the spot (I have a video on this too) then applying the oil. Also try gentle scalp massages, low tension styles with your locs, and look up DHT blockers. Hope this helps. Happy Sunday!!

The smell didn't bother me, but it was a bit much since I slept in a plastic cap. But when I say my hair was soooo soft after rinsing out. I almost didn't want to wash it because I use t-gel shampoo. No worries! My scalp felt great. I only had to wash my hair twice (I have bad psoriasis flare ups and my scalp was a mess last week) where I usually have to wash 3x and even then not all the flakes are out. I conditioned and let air dry for 24hrs then blew the rest dry on Saturday. I cannot believe it, but with one use I've had WAY LESS shedding since last week. I'm going to use as a pre-poo again tomorrow but maybe just let it sit on for a couple of hours and not overnight.

    • @jessicahensonspeaks

The US is one of the youngest countries in world and haircare is not new. Other cultures have been growing, styling, and maintaining hair for years. I think there’s always something great we can learn. Batana oil can be found in the US. If you’re looking for something to buy out of the grocery store, you can use olive oil, castor oil, aloe Vera, you can put tea in your hair. Theres really an infinite list. Some ppl use mayo as a protein treatment. You can use onions…on and on. There’s plenty of store bought products that derive ingredients from nature or mimic what’s in nature. There’s no one stop shop for hair growth and haircare. Just passing along some information about what I’ve learned. Thanks so much for watching 🤍
