- On this episode we combine 2 trips to Swan Quarter only 2 days apart! It was hard fishing with winds in the near 15 mph but we managed to land some nice fish. Tune in for this 2 part video and stay tuned for "gear time" at the end for what brought the fish on board!

With the snaps, no need for the loop knot. That's why I started using the snaps. Especially on mirrolures.
Good to know. I have just had better luck with the loop knots on my paddletails and jerk baits. Don't know if it gives it more action or what. Will for sure keep that in mind come mirrolure season. Thanks!
@@blindhogadventures_Cory.F I do too, but the snap is all you need. Plus, in my experience, the loop knots are not the greatest strength wise. There's a myriad of different ways to tie em, but especially with flouro, they don't exhibit very good knot strength. It's only slightly better with mono tho. I never fish flouro anymore. Don't see where it's hurt my fishing at all. I switched to ande clear mono for my leaders and have yet to break off a fish.
