  • I took a trip down to Galveston for a day of flounder fishing. It was hot, the bite was slow, and the one was blowing hard. But, I managed to catch a few fish and even a nice keeper to bring home for dinner. Hope y’all enjoyed and thanks for watching!

😎What it Do? Nice video. You are on point with the fishing. Its been a rough year. I was at the 2nd spot earlier this week and limited out on Speckles. Didn’t even think about Flounder. Congratulations on Grandma’s still going strong. Gotta take care of our treasures. Looking forward to more content. PEEEEACE!🤙🏾💯

    Congrats to your Grandmother 🎉
Enjoy your videos. I ordered the same sunglasses for my son. He loves them.
Quick question, When you were doing the free lining and hooking the mullet by the tail, how do your fish that? Is it a super slow retrieve or do you leave it there until you get a bite? I do 95% Carolina rig and hook through mouth and will retrieve at normal pace after a while and mullet will be lively still. I tried hooking through tail once and did a regular retrieve and that mullet didn’t make it. Too much water going wrong way into gills.

What boat ramp is that? I've been to Bolivar but don't recognize that ramp. I like to take my Solo Skiff to new areas.

Nice outing, one of my favorites spots on Bolivar, you should do another video in late Oct. by that ramp. My wife and her family
loves croaker, I have to fill up a cooler before she lets me fish the other species. Yean, drive 5 hours to catch croaker my luck.
There is a geezer who is a regular that fished that jetty, he is good company, has lots of tales, we had blast just talking. People
are just so down to earth there, the salty air, see breeze, early morning out going tide, one of the best spots.

When free lining I like to use about a 1/4 ounce barrel weight, put it on the line first, and then a couple needs on the line before riding on the hook. It casts easier, and then the live bait can easily pull the line through the weight. The beeds will keep the hook from getting stuck in the weight.

Love your style of video. I may have to take some pointers to use in my own videos. If we run into each other, you should hop on the boat and we can do a dual video!

      Couple spots.
      Go west on stewart road.
      Couple of bridges there.
On the bolivar side from ferry and heading east, stay to the left when you come to the bridge crab to the right in the lagoon.

Slow down Cameron, you're talking too fast. Plus you've got some kind of speech impediment, it makes you hard to understand. A lav mic would really help too. But please keep making videos. Thanks for taking us fishing with you.

Cameron since you're a seed eater try Chinook. Bigger and better seeds with less salt than David's. Anyways great video as always.

Chinook is good. Spitz is great. So many better choices than Davids. Anything is better than Davids.
