      He died in 2008, in prison. Massachusetts literally, just wanted to get rid of him. He was a sick problem, and they wanted him gone. Basically kicked out of the state. It's unreal to think the guy could just walk free like that, head to a new state, and start SA's of minors like nothing ever happened. His ass should've been locked up for the rest of his life after the attempted murders of the 2 boys in Mass. But no...it's really sick. His story is one of the sickest I've ever encountered. There was a poor cop, who literally spent every waking hour trying to prove he had murdered Zach Ramsey. It destroyed his life. He lost his job as a policeman, his marriage fell apart all over the obsession of trying to put him behind bars for good. I hope that man was able to pick up the pieces and move on. I don't know what the former detective's name was.

    Before the first 2 boys got kidnapped in Shrewsbury MA in the 70's this man lived on my street at the first house next to my elementary school. He would stand on his porch after school and try to lure us in his house to see his bird. I inew by the Grace of GOD that he was dangerous and walked past quickly everyday. He did get 2 classmates(David M & Arthur B) to go inside and I never learned what happened to them. They never spoke about it. This was the early 1970's before anything was known about him. This guy ended up being an absolute monster

      True, I think he put his police outfit on to kidnap the first two boys in Shrewsbury MA and because it worked he used it over and over. The first two boys were very lucky to get away with their lives, however they must've been seriously harmed due to this horrific event. Massachusetts is definitely to blame for allowing him to leave the state unsupervised allowing him to attack other children. They screwed up big-time

I doubt that they would give you permission to do that, if you had asked them, so in that respect, I seriously doubt that you had asked them for permission.

I have 3 adult children and an amazing grandson and I think I probably would have to live in a fantasy world to survive. I’m not a licensed anything however , I have great empathy, understanding and insight often times. I truly believe she knows her son is gone but the moment she admits that all hope is gone and I believe she would just break and this denial of his death and the possibility of the hope he’s coming back one day is like a protection . I live here. I knew the boys. I remember Barjonah lived across the street from my grandma. I remember the oldest boy taking us into Barjonahs house. I remember thinking he looks like he worked at the post office or that he looked like he was an official. Thank god me and my brother weren’t harmed. When this all came out, there was a detective that went to my mom’s work and showed her thousands of pictures of little boys. The detective wanted to make sure none of the pictures were me or my brother. I grew up with detective Cameron’s daughter. It was a weird and strange time.

    How many serial killers would have been caught if the US cops were trained for more than 3 minutes?

    • @robertschumann7737
      @robertschumann7737 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It's more than just a lack of training. The type of person they actively recruit to become police officers and eventually detectives is the root of the problem. Most candidates that are highly intelligent are usually disqualified for one thing or another and even one mistake they got caught for when they were young disqualifies them as well. Usually they end up with candidates that lived sheltered lives and have zero experience with criminals or the other side of the law. Just about every celebrated law man from 100+ years ago were themselves behind bars at some point before they became lawmen. It's the same thing with the modern military. The majority of Medal of Honor recipients from WWII through Vietnam had a criminal record or were ordered into the military by a judge. None of them would be allowed in today's military. Its the reason there is such a huge disconnect between police and the public today. Neither side has any understanding of the other. One side is ready and willing to ruin somebody's life for the smallest of infractions cause they see the law as black and white. The otherside realizes this and has zero trust for the other. When I was a kid I caused a bit of trouble and the cops would lecture me and once tossed me a beating for stealing a car. But they never hit me with charges. I think because I was young and never did anything that would be considered violent. If I was a teenager today I would have a criminal record following me everywhere and making my adult life miserable. We need police reform badly.
