Her father, a narcissist, abused his first wife and daughter. I've seen comments criticising the daughter for "loving" her father, but it's important to recognise the manipulative nature of narcissists and the impact it can have on their victims. It's unjust to judge without understanding the complex dynamics at play, especially considering she was an only child and her father's behaviour may have been the only form of "love" she knew.
And you also have to take into account that she only knew it that way from an early age, she was born into it. And her mother showed her what role she should take in the family, especially towards her father, but she herself never developed an emotional bond with her daughter. It was also deeply traumatizing for the girl to be sent to boarding school. Yet another reason to become emotionally slavish to her father, because all the power lay with him and she didn't want to be abandoned again.
Absolutely. Narcissist abuse, especially long-term childhood abuse is insidious. A child has zero chance against it. She has a malignant narcissist for a father and a mother that is indifferent, passive, and complicit in the abuse by not protecting her from it. This kind of systemic abuse, type of toxic family system teaches you that this is what love looks like, that it is normal and acceptable. It teaches you co-dependence, people pleasing, constant fear of punishment, constant egg shell walking, constant survival mode which often results in disassociation for the child. The Narcissist works to isolate each member within the family, so that they are the one with all the power and control and uses all the punishment and manipulation tactics seen here: mental, emotional, financial, and physical abuse to maintain that control. All my best to Sam. That little girl deserved all the love and wholesomeness, just as every child does.
My heart breaks for this sweet girl. She had a father that she adored who was a narcissist, selfish, and held him self over everyone. Her mother was detached and never had a relationship with her only child, and a stepmother who helped to get rid of her mother. You can hear and see the remaining trauma in her face and voice.
she actually said that SHE didnt have a close relaltionship with her mum, the mum may have tried and tried to gain her love, but Sam was so into her dad she wouldnt let her mum get close to her
What about Patricia? There's a good chance that she was complicit in the murder and/or cover-up. At the very least she was a confidant of her psycho boyfriend. I bet she knows what happened to Sam's mother and where to find the remains. She should be in jail with Russell.
The fact Patricia dressed up as her mother to sign the house over to herself, shows she knew the mother was dead and wouldn't contradict her. It's at least fraud.
This poor poor girl. Traumatised and still very distressed today after two damaged psycopaths left her without kindness, support and love from childhood to walking the dangerous city streets alone without a bed to lie on at 16. Deeply disturbing these people slipped through many safety nets meant for abused children. I am so sorry for her and hope she is happy and contented with her beautiful son and getting all the support she needs. Heartbreaking story.❤
I had a controlling husband who did not wanted me to see my family. It became worse and worse. After two and a half years I choose for myself and my kid and left. This was in 1977. I did the same when I was 16. In my country there was no help for kids at the time. I left school, found a job en rented a room. She should have left with her daughter way way sooner. Even before her husband took in his mistress. I feel very sorry for the daughter. Her story made me realize I made the right decision. But the mother should have made better life choices
Harsh reality of not being able to pick your parents. A monster for a father and abused mother who didn’t provide nurture or a motherly bond. Such a chaotic upbringing… I hope Sam has support, therapy and peace one day.

Yes because we are programmed to believe our parents. What he did is beyond what anyone could imagine their father capable of. Successful psychopaths avoid prison by blending in. what better camouflage is there than to be a husband and father?
Her father knew he was not good enough to be around a sweet, innocent, pure baby. It drew fury out of him to see his daughter happy with her baby and not mentally destroyed like he planned, and like he was.
She was deprived of the love from her mother and he showed her attention in love. So that's what she cre are very easily.Multiple manipulated because they want to love and they want the love of their parents.
It’s anything but baffling, what do you expect from an extremely deprived of love and abused as well as being extremely lonely child, children depend on their parents for their very survival, her father is a psychopath, psychopaths are pure evil, dangerous and treacherous, they’re the scourge of the earth, they wreck the lives of everyone they’re involved with
Why would he ask about acid if he already knew? What an odd egotistical man. he broke his wife and manipulated and broke his daughter. She's cleatly still so damaged. I hope she gets help.
This whole story is so sad. The daughter is walking around with regrets. She wasn't close to her mother, just the fact that she told her mother that she doesn't love her anymore, how that poor woman must have felt. But the father who was nothing but a cheat and a fraud she adored. She definitely has regrets. 😢😢
The mother was indifferent, cold, selfishly passive and complicit in the abuse. She not only fails to protect her daughter from the constant abuse, she throws her child under the bus when it suits her. Being a parent does not entitle you to love from your kid. You have to actually show up and be a good parent to earn that love. And even still, children are so innocent that they will give that love to anyone who even pays them the least attention - like the malignant narcissist of a father who only gave his child his conditional attention when it suited him. Neither of these parents were good, safe or loving. Unless you have lived under a systemic abuse system like a household run by a Narcissist, you cannot judge the reactions of a neglected, used and abused child.
@user-if8sj1pq6j I don't think she assumed ALL. But she was helping the one's like me that had no idea what all of that meant. So totally thankful. Now it paints more of a disturbing picture of who this man was
I hope he remains in prison until he gives up the info. My hope for Sam is that her son marries a lovely woman and gives her 5 or 6 grandchildren who will bring her the greatest joy she has ever known.
Women who tolerate abuse don’t understand what kind of impression that leaves on their kids..Chose your children over a bad abusive man poor Sam my god
Unfortunately it wasn't as easy back in the 70s /80s women couldn't even have a mortgage or credit card till the 80s even being a divorced woman was a stigma not to mention dv wasn't even taken seriously by the police till a few years ago plus there's wasn't as many women's refuges then and she was probably fanatically abused as well .from sarah .
In my case my mother was abusive to Dad who was our buffer from her! He wasn't weak, he was strong enough to protect us, we seven children. She was 😢severely bipolar. Verbally and emotionally abusive. To this day I trust men more than women! 😅😅
Please don’t blame victims of abuse for “staying”. Most are utterly trapped and get no real assistance from the $2 Billion/year taxpayer fraud that we call The Domestic Violence Industry. The DVI is controlled by an extremist organization who have co-opted DV to front and fund their political agendas. They have just as much blood on their hands as the actual killers. Too many victims seek their help, follow their advice, and still wind up murdered by their abuser for it to be unintentional. Nothing drives donations like a mom who has been murdered by her abuser!
My mother was controlling, dramatic, ridiculous. By the time I was 14, I was too furious for it to be worth anyone’s time to bother me, including hers.
so Sam said to her mum "i dont love you any more" and shes never had a bonding with her mum. Id be devastated if my only child said that to me. Because of her attitude, i wasnt really interested in this story. She had a loving relationship with her dad, who was into BDSM and baby dress ups, weird a daughter saw nothing wrong. I felt sorry for his wife
You have obviously not gone through abuse as a child to say these things. Sam had a bond with her mother clearly, but she blocked it due to the abuse that messed with her head. The tears and pain that she is feeling now shows that she loved her mother and feels deep guilt in the way that she reacted back then, but it isnt her fault. She was angry with her mother for allowing her fathers mental and physical torture over the years and that is why she hit out with that statement. You will never truly understand a child that has been abused over many years because you are not trained or possibly have never experienced it. I have. Not in the same way exactly, but it messed with my mind for many years. My sister went through totally different reactions to me. I just hope Sam got therapy and her mothers share of the house at least was given to her as some sort of compensation. It is a pity that Patricia isnt in jail along with him because I honestly believe that she was a part of the murder plot too.
@@AlisonEngelI did.....I sided with my mother......that woman in story was just like her dad. My childhood was much much worse actually, and I dont milk attention like this chick is. Who she got a single beating but could still walk? That's nothing!

Those "parents" didn't want Sam or love her. Absolutely no avidence of that. I find immense compassion for Sam and how she's coped. Unbelievable trauma and unhappiness to have to live through. This whole episode makes me feel sick and uneasy like no other episode. You Sam were absolutely blameless. I do hope speaking and revealing this is some help to you. Sam's trauma hasn't resulted in her becoming an abusing person (as her father's experience is suggested). I hope you can survive these terrible terrible actions towards you. Her mother seemed so totally controlled by this demon. It destroyed any mother, daughter relationship. He controlled and destroyed both his wife and daughter. A life full of fear. Unbelievable too that he kicked the family dog to death. There's really no words to describe but pure pure evil!
So sad her loyalty was misplaced. She was obviously a simple, trusting soul, easily manipulated. I hope she's wised up and not continued the pattern. I hope she finds the peace she deserves and her mother's remains are found.

I find it really really hard to hear or see videos of murder of any kind,, but this is just evil,, nothing more ,, inocent people whom are left behind have to suffer for the rest of thier natural lives,, its so unbelievably wrong😮
Amazing! Sam felt her dad wouldn’t put the family thru a faked death?! He did everything else that was monstrous! The desire for love is often desperate.
My heart goes out to her a trauma shell never fully recover from so very sad. But good on the police for never giving up and working together between different forces to achieve what they did.may her mum now being at peace in a far better place, another person to good for this world. 🙏
I find it hard to feel sorry for Sam. She doesn’t seem to have loved or cared about her mom. The only person she cared about was her dad and his girlfriend. What’s hurting her now, is knowing that her father does not love or care about her the way she expected.
I think that's too harsh. The mother was incapable of displaying affection towards her daughter, probably because Russell intimidated her to isolate her from her child. But I know from personal experience that it is very hard to have empathy for those who not show us empathy. The daughter was simply the child that her father raised her to be.
I thought the same thing. I didn’t hear her explain any abuse from her mom, yet knew what was going on behind her mom’s back for years and she knew her mom was abused. Idk how she continuously sought out her father but didn’t look for her mother nor question her disappearance. When she stated that it was basically a relief when she left I was mind boggled.
Uhm are we under the impression if the photos that he took of her would have been normal and ok if they had just been “oh this is how you were developing when you were 13…” ? Because uhm.. no.
If a daughter or son have a secret about a parent please until they are of age to be on their own keep quiet . Parents have destroyed the image of good people only to be viewed as villains.
You’re an idiot if you don’t think she was being beaten and threatened. Cowed down and treated horribly. The mother wasn’t abusing her she was detached. If you can’t see all of that it’s clear you were never in a situation like this so you are a thing not either of these women that were done this way. If you want a thing that would have been the tramp that moved in that house and slept with that woman’s husband with full knowledge.
It sounds more like the mother was totally subjugated and broken. She seems to have had very little ability to speak up for herself or her daughter. She was broken as much as Sam was. Her mum let her down by using the ammunition Sam gave her but she must have been struggling to not use it after so long. Just tragedy all round. And a disgusting man.
She couldn’t believe her father was capable of committing fraud 🤣🤓😉🤪😝 He hated you and your mother. It broke your heart again and again when he rejected you. He probably drugged you when he took you on that trip and had arranged for your mother to be murdered , then pretended that she had left.
I do feel for the girl, can’t imagine being at that age and who ones acknowledge her and how she feels. The people who are suppose to be there for her doesn’t.
God, what a caricature of a human being. But, honestly, I can well imagine that his wife is still alive. She wouldn't be the first to just run away and leave everything behind, even her child (with whom she apparently had no emotional connection). Women like her often choose this type of man in order to enhance themselves. They are just as self-promoters as their partners. But when the relationship takes a turn like this, it is of course doubly tragic for her. But how could a guy like this ever really publicly admit that his wife left him? Him, the greatest of the great? It serves his ego much more to keep everyone guessing, even if it means harming himself. People like him are all about control through manipulation, because he is a fraud through and through - control and his reputation are everything!
what about patricia ? surely she had a lot to answer as impersonating the woman numerous times to stop the police looking for carole and name on the mortgage etc etc
It is positively nauseating. A rat died in my wall a few days ago, and removing its corpse, left a less negative impression on me, than going to the grocery store. We are completely alone now.
She was nasty to her mother. Keeping secrets for her dad. Even asked for her dad not to be told....we all grew up in abusive households....even though we risk beatings we side with each other. He abused the mother and the child still favoured him. The mother was his first victim sweety. But yall want your sympathy,,, but can't give it to your mum Im treating you right job, how you treated your mum. I don't care. How dies it feel? Lovely?
Yes you can. Even more you can be convicted without a body, without a murder weapon and without forensics. It's called 'absence of life'. As long as the police have made every effort to find a body in a 6 year period , or other evidence to no avail, then a suspect can be charged with murder

For the Americans: Her father was in a "cot" (crib) with a "dummy" (pacifier or binky) in his mouth, wearing a "nappy" (diaper).

Don't understand why she wouldn't think that he was capable of faking his own death, considering how vindictive he is...
You can tell she is still completely under his abuse. That kind of abuse never leaves you
Amazing! Sam felt her dad wouldn’t put the family thru a faked death?! He did everything else that was monstrous! The desire for love is often desperate.
She is her mums twin! Wow 😮
That woman is very disturbed 😖
My heart goes out to her a trauma shell never fully recover from so very sad. But good on the police for never giving up and working together between different forces to achieve what they did.may her mum now being at peace in a far better place, another person to good for this world. 🙏
Sounds like being treated like furniture 😢
I find it hard to feel sorry for Sam. She doesn’t seem to have loved or cared about her mom. The only person she cared about was her dad and his girlfriend. What’s hurting her now, is knowing that her father does not love or care about her the way she expected.
I think that's too harsh. The mother was incapable of displaying affection towards her daughter, probably because Russell intimidated her to isolate her from her child. But I know from personal experience that it is very hard to have empathy for those who not show us empathy. The daughter was simply the child that her father raised her to be.
Exactly!!
She's a bit slow, huh??
That is a load of baseless speculation. Lol.
Very sad that Sam had to go through all that growing up 😔
No thanks for ANY relationship with ANY human not ever not in my lifetime. Looking at these gives me the chills....
That's sad not everybody is a monster 😢 I personally prefer animals but u have to give love a chance x
Sad 😢😢
Everybody ignores the mother, but she was just as narcissistic as the thing called Russell. Both were absolute losers of the highest order.
Her mother enabled the abuse to her daughter, maybe thinking he love her for it .....
The mother was just as much a victim as her daughter!
She can be independently a monster and also a victim of his abuse. Victims don’t have to be perfect
😂😂😂 Nappys what a freak 😜
Story of my life...😢
And what about Veronica, the mother, the victim? There's no mention really of the abuse and heartbreak she endured. 💔
I love the narrators voice ❤
Daughter of a narcissist…..very tough.
Turn down the music, much to loud.... overpowering the people's voices.
What a peculiar and a tragic story!!! :/
Seems she loves her father more than herself 😢
The thing is u will always love and want ure parents approval no matter what they have done too u😢
I disagree
You free yourself when you realize you don't need your toxic parents' approval in order to live a joyful life. You just need God.
True
She couldn’t believe her father was capable of committing fraud 🤣🤓😉🤪😝
He hated you and your mother. It broke your heart again and again when he rejected you. He probably drugged you when he took you on that trip and had arranged for your mother to be murdered , then pretended that she had left.
Aww, you seem like such a nice, kind person 😅
I do feel for the girl, can’t imagine being at that age and who ones acknowledge her and how she feels. The people who are suppose to be there for her doesn’t.
No body, no parole. Is this a law yet in the UK?
I wonder why she named her son after that disgusting father .
Child named after his own father, not grandfather.
That mum betrayed her daughters trust....so so sad
The old adage "Loose Lips Sink Ships".
Careless talk costs lives.
Yech-what is it about Patricia's? My ex step mother was Patricia and she was after dad's money and land.
She look like her mum brave lady to go against your parents
I wonder if they checked the New Forest at all?
Deviants have always been around...so sad this happened to this lady as a young girl.
Poor woman...
Poor dog, poor wife and daughter,
Don’t feel sorry for any of these losers except for Sam who was treated horribly as a child
My Ex insisted on calling me by the name of his big sister as a pet name.
That poor fuckin Mother😢😮😢 ABSOLUTELY sad what a strong woman Carrol was😢
Selfish not strong...allowing her child to be treated n such a way
Woah!! Daddy was a complete nightmare! Loser to the fullest!
What is a 'nappy'? 😅
“Nappy” = diaper
“Dummy”= pacifier
In other words, her father was dressed up like an infant. Sicko.
It’s a diaper
This girĺ let her mother down
She was a child!!!
Such a riveting story did not need loud background music
Alright, cool 😎. THANKS GUYS!!
Ronnie Pickering is out to get you!

Living his best life.

ENGLISH JUSTICE
17:55 Manchester University - that will be MANCHESTER
????
Yep Bournemouth now. The Cultural enriches.
It is positively nauseating. A rat died in my wall a few days ago, and removing its corpse, left a less negative impression on me, than going to the grocery store. We are completely alone now.
There's a documentary about this story on Netflix
She was nasty to her mother. Keeping secrets for her dad. Even asked for her dad not to be told....we all grew up in abusive households....even though we risk beatings we side with each other. He abused the mother and the child still favoured him. The mother was his first victim sweety. But yall want your sympathy,,, but can't give it to your mum
Im treating you right job, how you treated your mum. I don't care.
How dies it feel? Lovely?
Keep loving your adorable father. What an awful story.
Wait, what? You can be convicted for murder in UK without a corpse?
You can be convicted of murder anywhere without a corpse if there is enough evidence. Why are you so surprised by this?
Yes? You can in other countries, including the US, as well. You need a ton evidence though.
Sure. Video evidence, dna evidence, the sheer amount of blood found, eyewitness testimony, expert testimony, all kinds of ways.
Yes you can. Even more you can be convicted without a body, without a murder weapon and without forensics. It's called 'absence of life'. As long as the police have made every effort to find a body in a 6 year period , or other evidence to no avail, then a suspect can be charged with murder
I would have sued my mom if she wasn't dead
